Flea Playtest- Jan 8th ..."Closed one"

Hey everyone,
We're really close to be able to open the big playtest for everyone, and we actually now have 1600+ people waiting for it, if you're interested and want to join push "Request access" on our main store page:

But this update is not about it. We want to run kind of "closed" playtest for limited number of people, to check if everything is working (technically and from the game balance standpoint). It will be for discord community so please join the event on Discord:

It's planned for January 8th.
We will give steam playtest keys directly this time, so you would need to request them on discord. Sorry it's not super comfortable, but it's a price to be "closed" you know :)

Flea Status Report - 22 November 2024

Hey, here's what we've recently achieved in development. But before we start please find the Join Playtest button at the game store page and request access (we have 1500+ requests currently):

We have been quite but didn't stop the development. First thing to mention we have added a new map to the game "The Deadly Swamp"





Third map is in progress ;)

Our new characters have new outfits:



Riding NPC mechanics also has new bug to ride, actually to fly: "Drone bug"





And here is the list of current improvements we have in game:

  • Match capacity is now 8 vs 8
  • Lobby improvement has been done. Invites and joining to the match is now more smooth, more polishes are WIP.
  • Food evolution is now in game: By eating "Infinity candies" from the specific bug you can change your character physical parameters.
  • In-game parameters tuning mechanics is in game, some balancing is needed (that's where the coming Playtest could help).
  • Emotions are added into the game.
  • Speed, biting speed, abilities balancing was done (not final obviously).
  • Character setup, progress, and lobby UI in main menu was significantly improved.
  • Abilities will be linked to a specific character class, new abilities partially done.
  • Character jittering during the fast movement is fixed.
  • Settings are now "technicaly" in the game.
  • New VFX for old abilities (Vomit, Gravity bomd, Dash etc.) added.


Basically the only thing preventing us from running the Playtest is a number of participant, so please consider subscribing on it.

Riding NPC in Flea Madness

Hey, it's a small update, but hope you'll like it. We decided to make our NPC characters more interactive, now in addition to eating, you can ride them:



In case of more intelligent bugs you could also use their powers, like this Candy Bug laser for ex.

Big Flea Update

Hello, as always, before we get started, please join our next Playtest by requesting access on the product page on Steam. We've received +50 requests since the last update, but we need more. Adding the game to your wishlist will also help ;)

We've been developing our game for quite a long time, but the only thing remains the same was characters. Technically, they were poorly optimized; on the visual side, the characters were, let’s say, "unclear".

So after much discussion and brainstorming, we decided to take the time to update all of the playable characters.

Main goals were:
  • Visual difference for classes.
  • Better optimization.
  • Funny look with a hint of madness (and definetelly more emotions).
  • Suitable for accessories.


This brought us to this:

New flea concept.


And here are the game models of each character:


Slobber. Uses a sticky liquid to catch and destroy its enemies.


Smoker. Assassin class, fast and cunny. Can use invisibility. Makes tremendous damage from the enemy's back.


Shocker Well balanced electricity-based flea.


Dozer. Little too slow but heavy and strong flea.


We've also thought about the personalization you can add to your characters and have added our first batch of caps. They're already in the game if you join us for the next Playtest you'll be able to choose what to wear :)
