What's new in Flea Madness?


Hey, just want to show you what have we done since our last status report.

Actually we made our third testing phase, and you know what? This was super fun :)
Anyway let's dive into changes:

- Slobber's Spit ability works in range
- Added visuals for "splattered" flea
- Slobber's Vomit ability added. It will hit and slowdown your opponents
- Improved visual for successful bite or dash hit (flying hitpoints, sparkle)
- Teams divided to two colors "blue" and "red"
- TDM goal is changed for simple goal - team that killed 50 enemies becomes the winner
- Walking angle was changed this means that running on level is now much more smoother
- And optimization and polishing the level :)

Besides that we're harldy working on our next levels Crab Arena and Ufo Arena Night.

Flea Madness at DevGamm 2019 Minsk

Hey, good news! FleaMadness is nominated for Excellence in Art on DevGamm Minsk 2019! :)
Our team will be at this DevGamm as well (21-22 NOV Minsk). This is our first game conference at all, and it will be a pleasure to meet new people from industry there.

Status report - 25 Sep 2019



Hey, so what about the updates before the next testing stage? Here they are!
First let's look on the latest video of gameplay we've recorded special for you :)

And the list actually:

- Combat system improvement.
- Improved effect for understanding when you bite other character.
- Improved damage receiving effect.
- Characters' materials improved.



- Dash Attack is now aimed and could be done in the air.
- Character form changes (character level can't be dicreased now).
- Character health system. Added dynamic extra health bar you need to fill it out to evolve.
- Added mutation effect (with explosion).
- "Madness" effect added for the extra health bar.
- Slobber's first abillity visually changed.
- Added ability to win the match.
- Molecula character added (the next stage for the biggest Slobber). If you evolve into Molecula run our from the level (marked area) and you will become the winner.



- First implementation of the team death match.
- Game menu changed.
- Game HUD changed.
- NPC food added - Maggots.
- Improved UfoArena map (visual, postprocess).

New testing stage

Hey, long time without news yeah?
After our first testing event we've got alot of feedback so decided to make a huge update before the next one. As result of several months of work we've changed our combat system, added game goal, improve effects, UI, health and size change system and a lot more. We will make additional post with all updates :)
