January 10th Hotfix

  • Further netcode optimization
  • Player starting experience has been made slightly better
  • Constitution scaling has been increased
  • More missplaced 1 handed maces switched to 2 handed weapons
  • All quests should give rewards now
  • Dexterity scaling added to 1 handed weapons that mistakenly had Strength on them
  • Sword in the Lake moved to land nearby

PvE Servers now live!

[p]We would like to apologize for the launch. It didn't go as smoothly as we planned. We have been working on fixing quite a few things. One including the network code and another including the PvE servers.

We have deployed the PvE servers. You can now tell from server list if a server is PvP or PvE. With this we also included the faction toggled PvP (R key by default opens the UI). After gaining enough reputation in a faction you can choose to fight for it (Morsath or Valfalk).

On demand there are more PvE servers as of right now![/p]

Past Fate Early Access is now live!

This is NOT a finished product. Early access will have bugs and some things might be broken. Mechanics are still work in progress same goes for most animations.

Servers might be unstable and crashes can happen. We will open additional servers based on demand.

PVE SERVERS WILL OPEN LITTLE BIT LATER DUE TO AN ISSUE. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO EXPERIENCE POTENTIAL PVP WE SUGGEST WAITING FOR A DAY OR TWO UNTIL WE DEPLOY THEM!

Those who wish to record/stream the game without chat can turn off chat on the chat settings.

Known bugs in the current build:
  • Quests share some progress (replication issue)
  • Some quests add more towards the progress than one
  • Loincloth might clip through some armor

Balance

  • Increased the damage of Trolls
  • Decreased healing radius
