30XX Demo Patch 0.10.3 Notes - June 18, 2020

Hello! Today's 0.10.3 Demo patch (partially pushed yesterday, in case you'd already noticed some of the changes) fixes Ace's combo cadence, adds a new mechanic into Zen Primus' fight, and fixes co-op Aug sharing.

We'll be having a group chat tonight (Thurs, June 18) on our Discord tonight - come hang out! (We'll start at 7PM PT.)

CHANGES:

- Tweaked the Zen Primus battle. Added a shortcut mechanic for his shield phase. (Probably not final!)
- Fixed an issue causing Augs to not properly share in co-op. (Salvaged Augs should also give their bonuses to both characters.)
- Fixed an issue causing the Pickup/Salvage prompts to black-box after awhile.
- Fixed an issue causing Ace's combo-ending attacks (Spear 2, Saber 3) to miss both their higher damage and their higher attack cooldown.

30XX Demo 0.10.2 Patch Notes - June 16, 2020

Hello! Today's 0.10.2 Demo patch makes a bunch of fixes and tweaks based on your feedback so far. Thanks for providing it - keep it coming!

CHANGES:

- Characters no longer trigger Powers when standing on items that can be picked up (or salvaged) via button press.
- Increased the size of Dally's petbox.
- Once the Salvager is unlocked, added icons next to the button prompts when encountering an Aug, indicating which is "pick this up" and which is "salvage this".
- Echocave's Crystal miniboss pair now only drops one set of Memoria.
- Memoria drops now gently float downward (in case they drop somewhere awkward). Increased Memoria hitbox size.
- Fixed some animation bugs involving Ace's Raijin Call.
- Lucavi (Ace's thrown weapon) now has proper boss invulnerability frames.
- Lucavi Unleash damage reduced.
- Fixed an issue causing Health Machines in shops to spawn two machines in the same spot.
- Boss gates are no longer wall-climbable while out of boss combat (so you can jump-hover into the boss room properly).
- Fixed some Wave Beam combinations so they're no longer brokenly bad. (They may now be brokenly good.)
- Beam combinations including Scatter no longer have "combo" hits like Nina's other shots. (They already do nutty damage.)
- Updated Murderdrone's icon. (Probably not final!)

Play 30XX in the Steam Festival!

Hey, folks! 30XX will be playable this week in the Steam Summer Festival - play it and give us feedback!

We'll be treating this week kind of like "Early Access Week Zero", so we'll be updating the game a ton with player feedback, and chatting in the Steam Community & Discord.

We'll also be holding office hours on Thursday night, and streaming & chatting on Saturday night - come hang out!

Batterystaple Office Hours - Thursday, June 18 2020

Hey, folks! We're going to be pretty active in the 30XX Discord all week, but we're setting aside Thursday night (June 18) in particular to chat with the community about how the game's coming along!

We're currently planning on using the game's Discord server for the event, and starting at 7PM PT on Thursday. We may move that date/time if we find a better spot!

30XX Festival Livestream w/ the Devs! June 20, 2020

Hey, folks! Toward the end of the Steam Summer Festival, we'll be playing the game on stream for a few hours and talking about some of the designs & processes involved in making 30XX.

Come see! We're currently planning for 6PM PT on Saturday, June 20 - we'll probably run for two hours or so. This time is subject to change - we may move it if we find a spicy spot in the calendar! It should be visible from the game's store page.
