Raven Guard and Alpha Legion clash on Ravendelve to decide which card will join the game! Choose your side in The Raven's Sorrow event and win to vote whether Sergeant Syras or the Saboteur Consul join their faction's collection.

In the Raven Guard's darkest hours, right before they began the Legion's recovery process, the Alpha Legion infiltrated their planet with evil intent. Instigating a revolt as a distraction, the heads of the hydra prepared to strike from within.

Lotara returned to the battlefields of the Horus Heresy in force, and her initial performance sounded all of the alarms. Even though we have seen in the past how new cards and Warlords have achieved higher-than-average win rates while the meta reacts and players learn how to counter the new challengers, Lotara became a force to be reckoned with. This created a frustrating ladder to take part in, and a repetitive and tiresome competitive environment.

For this reason, today we are releasing an emergency balance hotfix addressing the situation and tweaking the main offenders of Lotara's ranked dominance:

IMPERIAL ARMY
● Lotara Sarrin: Changed Savage ability to 'Give Flank to adjacent troops' (it no longer buffs adjacent troops)

MECHANICUM
● Glaividian Ursarax: Increased ability cost from 0 to 1 and changed ability to '(1) Stun a random enemy troop' (instead of a random enemy).

These changes are now live in the game. We will continue to monitor the situation, as well as monitor the rest of the meta in preparation for the next balance update, currently scheduled for the first full week of the next competitive season.
