IndieX Demo

Hello everyone! I've been busy working on the game since the summer's demo, and will be making an updated demo available on Thursday the 12th at 10am PST (tomorrow). The demo will be playable until the end of Sunday the 15th.

The new demo includes a lot of general gameplay changes and improvements, as well as new encounters, boats, and probably a lot of things I'm not thinking of.

I'd love to hear what you all think!

Demo Patch 4

It seemed to me that stamina was a bit too restrictive as it currently was, so I doubled the amount of stamina that each sailor grants to their boat. This increases your total, but not your recharge speed, so you should have a bit more time to row and fire guns before waiting for it to refill.

- Significantly increased total stamina for all boats
- Performance should be a little better on low end machines
- The Small Long Gun incorrectly had the swivel cannon's name, and is now named properly
- Made another potential bug fix to how steering is handled on keyboard

Demo Patch 3

This change is meant to address issues some players were experiencing with steering reliably. Part of this change included removing the concept of the steering analog X/Y axis in favor of just steering left and right, which will only affect gamepad bindings.

Most people will notice no difference, however in order to ensure that players were not left with invalid custom bindings, this patch will wipe any options you've changed. Sorry for the inconvenience there!

- Remove "Steering Analog Axis" and map gamepad left stick X to steering left / right. This should function identically.

- Merge gamepad and keyboard steering input so that gamepad doesn't take precedence over keyboard if it is for some reason erroneously creating input.
