Happy Spring Festival! Development Progress Update for Version 0.8
[p]As our traditional Spring Festival arrives, I would like to send my warmest New Year greetings to everyone! Wishing you good health, boundless energy, a great appetite, and success in everything you set your mind to in the year ahead![/p][p][/p][p]At the beginning of February, the renovation of my new home was finally completed! The original plan was to finish by the end of September, but the construction actually lasted a full 11 months (from early March to early February). The good news is that I can now fully dedicate myself to development again![/p][p][/p][p]For Version 0.8 of Glimmer in Mirror, nearly 40 maps in the “Frozen Lands” chapter have completed their level design, monsters, and Boss battles. To ensure a high-quality Boss fight experience, I spent more time polishing than originally planned—but I truly believe it was worth it.[/p][p][/p][p]What remains unfinished includes scene composition (environment assembly) and the configuration of the main storyline scripts. I am currently working on assembling the environments using original art assets to build the final in-game visual scenes—similar to decorating a house after the main construction is finished (perhaps a side effect of renovation).[/p][p][/p][p]While environment assembly is not technically difficult, it is extremely time-consuming and demanding on the eyes. Every single object in Glimmer in Mirror must be manually placed within 3D space—almost like arranging flowers. To ensure a strong sense of immersion during your adventure, this step requires careful attention and time.[/p][p][/p][p]The good news is that development is progressing smoothly. Version 0.8 will be ready to meet you soon! Before the official release, I will organize a closed beta test. Once stability is confirmed and major bugs are resolved, the update will be officially pushed.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you all for your continued support. In 2026, I will devote myself fully to completing the remaining chapters of Glimmer in Mirror and strive to bring the full 1.0 version to you as soon as possible![/p]
