We have received feedback from players, and we decide to post some of the frequently asked questions here and we will keep them updated. If you encounter problems during the game, you can come here first to see if there are any answers!

Q: When I start new game, I got a black screen. What can I do?
A: In the beginning of a new game, A story video will be played. Maybe the video is loaded slowly, please wait patiently for the video to finish loading, then you can start the game!
Q:My controller is not working correctly. Some of the buttons are working but some are not.
A:Check if you enabled Steam controller settings. Click the top-left Steam button - Settings - Controller - GENERAL CONTROLLER SETTINGS, and try to disable everything. Then check if your controller is working now.
Q:I encountered an error in the game that caused serious problems with the save data, how do I fix it?
A:The game backup the save data each time you save. You can find 3 old version of your save data in: C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\MapleDorm\GlimmerInMirror. Rename the file name from XXX.save.bak to XXX.save. Then you can use the old save data. It is important to note that the save data name start from index zero. The first save slot data is named Save_V2_0.save, and the second slot data is named Save_V2_1.save.
Q: I tried to custom Keys for controllers in the game settings, but couldn't do it?
A: The keys customization function only works for keyboards now. In the future we will support the customization of the controller keys. If you want to customize the controllers' keys now, we recommend you use the controller customization in the Steam settings.
Q:After I launch the game. I can only see a background picture without menu buttons. I can't start new game.
A:May be your game files are corrupted. You can try to remove everything in the game data folder (C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\LocalLow\MapleDorm\GlimmerInMirror) and then uninstall the game and reinstall it. If the problem is still not solved, please send the files in the game data folder (C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\LocalLow\MapleDorm\GlimmerInMirror) to [email protected]. It will help us solve the problem for you. Thank you!
At present, there is a very low probability that the battle challenge in Dark Remains can not be completed. If you encounter it, you can try to exit the game and challenge again. We are working hard to investigate and will fix it as soon as possible!
