Community Update – "Tea Time!" Achievement Removed

[p][/p][p]Hello magicians! 🎩✨[/p][p]Since the last update, we received reports that the “Tea Time!” achievement was unobtainable, as the first Tea Potion is now unlocked from the beginning of the game.[/p][p]To fix this issue, we’ve decided to remove the “Tea Time!” achievement from Dandy Ace. From now on, it will no longer block your progress, and you can once again aim for that shiny 100% completion! [/p][p]Thank you so much for your patience and for all the feedback that helped us identify and resolve this problem. 💜[/p]

Dandy Ace Patch Notes v1.3.0.0.08

The goal of this update was to improve the early game player experience. Dandy Ace has an extremely punishing first 40 minutes. This often causes players to give up on continuing to play before advancing.

The causes of this, which we were able to fix, were:

Potion: Originally, the player only received the first potion after winning the 1st Area (Entrance Hall). However, this potion makes a big difference at the beginning of the game.

Change: The change we made is to give Dandy Ace a potion from the beginning of the game.

Blueprints: One element that was always frustrating in Dandy Ace was losing Blueprints when dying in a run. This caused several problems, such as making it take much longer than necessary to unlock and find new cards.

Change: Now the player no longer loses Blueprints when losing a run.

Nnif-tar: Nnif-tar is a mechanic that allows the player to choose a card and increase its level. The idea is not to make the game so dependent on RNG. However, Nnif-tar originally took a long time to unlock.

Change: Nnif-tar starts unlocked from the beginning of the game.

More balancing changes (card damage and costs) will come in future updates

Thank you very much!

Content Update - New Magical Cards & Trinkets

Greetings Magicians,

We’re thrilled to finally announce that Dandy Ace free DLC is now live! Players will be able to unlock new magical cards and trinkets to improve Ace’s powerful arsenal. We appreciate the community’s support, feedback, and patience since we first launched Dandy Ace on Steam earlier this year, and now we can retribute all of your efforts with new ways of exploding bunnies with glittering tricks.

PS: We noticed that some players were losing the progress on their save data when updating the game. That was caused due to the latest build of the update, and we already fixed the problem so it won't happen again. But if it happened to you, join our Discord server and talk with the developers so they can help you work around this situation: https://discord.gg/xVXShtZ
Magical Cards

Bolt of Cards
Ace Dashes forward. While dashing, 3 homing cards are shot from Ace.
Phantom Overcharge
Ace blinks forward, leaving 2 phantoms of himself, one in his point of origin and one in his arrival. After a brief delay the points are connected, damaging any enemies between them.
Ace of Spades
Ace strikes with powerful swords in front of him. If an enemy is hit, an explosion is spawned behind them.
Cloth Galore
Ace shoots a projectile that, if connected with an enemy, will spawn Cloth Chain.
Two-Act Show
Ace fires a projectile that leaves an area upon colliding with enemies or reaching its maximum distance. If Ace enters this area, it explodes, causing damage to nearby enemies.
Fairies Blast
Ace fires 2 projectiles, on different activations. Once the 2 projectiles arrive at their final destination, a beam is shot between them, damaging any enemies caught in it.
Overwhelming Presence
Ace creates an aura, damaging enemies inside.
Masterful Jump
Ace blinks to the nearest enemy, dealing damage upon arrival. If there's no enemy to jump into, Ace won't blink and the effect will trigger in the same position.
Intoxicating Trick
Ace blasts an area in front of him. The longer he holds the casting, the bigger it gets.
Hex Maelstrom
Ace creates a magical field that inflicts enemies with Hex.
Trinkets

Cupcake Party
Potions heal less, but levels drop more cupcakes.
Yellow Deck
Yellow Skills deal more damage. The damage increases as Ace progresses through the Palace.
Cloak of Retribution
If an enemy hits Ace, that enemy will take damage back. The damage is proportional to the enemy's attack strength. The damage increases as Ace progresses through the Palace.
Guarana Infuser
Drinking Tea Potions grants Ace increased move speed for a few seconds.
Assassin's Cloak
Ace deals more damage to nearby enemies. An area indicates the maximum range. The damage increases as Ace progresses through the Palace.

Players will be able to pick up Dandy Ace for 30% OFF from September 28th - October 12, 2021 and a free demo will also be available during Tokyo Game Show starting September 30th! The game is also available on Switch, Xbox One and Game Pass.
