5th Closed Technical Beta has wrapped up!

Hey everyone,

Another weekend, another round of beta testing wrapped up!

Thanks a million for being with us this weekend and for providing us with your feedback! The game is shaping up nicely and we can't wait for the moment you'll get to play the full Phageborn experience!

Great things are ahead of us, as you might expect, because the next beta will be quite different and we're pretty sure you guys know what you can expect ;)

Stay with us and keep your eyes, ears and whatever close to our channels 'cause, as we've said, we have some cool announcements to make.

Features

- Modified arrow when targeting objects and added differentiation for combat and non-combat targeting
- New avatar - Basson
- Added VFX for snared and rooted mods
- Modified avatar frame to fit avatars in 2v2
- Changed rules for armor mod: It has default value of 1 and doesn't stack
- Changed rules for special attack cards: Instead of replacing how much damage avatar does with special attack value, it now adds power to current power of avatar
- Added faction emblems on decks in pvp screen
- New victory/defeat screens
- Made many improvements for signalization in menus
- Avatars now zoom in depending on which player has turn
- Added new cards
- Added delay for hovering over ambush indicator
- Adjusted more animations to make game run more smoothly (there are still few animations that feel slow and we are working on improving those)
- Updated avatar selection screen in deck builder with new graphics
- Cards can be searched by mod in deck builder/collection
- When you subdue enemy avatar or your avatar is subdued there is card notifying you what are the effects of that happening
- Rest of the board is desaturated when watching action history
- Added signalization for units that have special effects and/or lastwish


Card changed

- Fixed some bugs with Vracac and then removed it from collections
- Phaerox Cannoneer health from 3 to 2
- Power blow costs 7, deals +4 damage and prevents your avatar from taking more than 3 retaliation damage
- Overpower, adds +1 damage and has REAP Draw a card
- Marien trait "Mystical Fortitude" Gives only regenerate you to core (+1 leadership is removed)
- Speculum Oracle Cost increased from 3 to 4




Bug fixes

- Fixed a bug where both players connected to a match and then didn't draw any cards
- Moved "Looking for opponent" to the center of the screen
- Fixed a bug with Apriosa setting maximum health of avatar to 1 instead of changing current health only
- Fixed a bug where if you used end turn button at the very last moment of end turn timer game would stop working
- Changed wrong names on some legendary cards
- Fixed a bug where acid damage log in history would show Malignant Thing as damage source while it wasn't
- Fixed a bug where hovering over ambush indicator while in attribute selection screen would freeze ambush card on the screen
- Fixed a bug where combat librarian would trigger on non combat kills
- Fixed a bug where metamorph was able to target units with higher cost than value of leadership owner had
- Fixed a bug where last card in deck list was cut
- Fixed a bug with Festering boltus not working with cards that placed acid counters on multiple enemies at once
- Fixed a bug where curse cards did not act same way as other energy cards
- Fixed acid mist typo
- Fixed a bug where numbers in attribute selection had square background
- Fixed a bug where some particles persisted on victory screen
- Updated placement of counters on core
- Fixed a bug where avatar skill was highlighted when it was not usable
- Fixed a bug where spiked trap doesn't show in history
- Reduced lights on Evie
- Fixed a bug with no card displaying when hovering over specific spots in deck list
- Fixed a bug where Berthana didn't work if you obtained it using Faceless Maiden
- Fixed some sounds still playing even when you muted sounds in settings
- Fixed a bug where Zarkk didn't reset stats if spawned with Rematerialize, killed nd played again
- Fixed a bug where Primordial shaping didn't copy buffed stats on morphed units
- Fixed a bug with some description boxes going outside of screen
- Fixed a bug where overcharge displayed wrong value (it was 0 instead of 1, this was just visual bug)

Phageborn Online Card Game is entering its 5th Closed Technical Beta phase

Hey everyone!

We'd like to announce that the 5th Closed Technical Beta test will take place next weekend, from the 28th (10am CEST) 'till the 29th of September (23:59 CEST)!

Newcomers to the beta only need to go to the provided link and apply and will receive the code via email.

Those that have already applied and received their code can automatically start playing in the beta once it goes live.

We'll announce new features and the changelog for the upcoming round in the next couple of days so keep a close eye for future updates!

Make sure to invite your friends and keep those bug reports and suggestions incoming! We listen to and consider all of them :)

4th Closed Techical Beta has been wrapped up!

We wrapped up another closed technical beta round yesterday!

We'd like to express our gratitude to everyone who participated in this round. We received tons of great feedback and suggestions from our players and it is awesome to see the game grow and evolve with your help with each testing phase.

Stay tuned for news on the next beta testing round we'll be announcing in a couple of days! More content and improvements incoming!

Hope ya'll are having a great day!

We're excited to share with you the date of our new, fourth in a row Closed Technical Beta testing phase!

Because of the awesome feedback we've received from our community, we decided to continue with our byweekly schedule of beta tests. That's why we're thrilled to announce that the next round will take place next weekend, on the 7th and 8th of September!

Those that participate in the beta will get an exclusive skin set for Tyberiuth once the game releases, aptly called ''Saviour King'', since you guys are our saviors with your feedback and bug reports! :)

With each round of testing the game continues to improve and evolve as we implement more features, fixes and content. Soon we'll be announcing what you can expect in the 4th Closed Technical Beta so make sure you keep a close eye here on our Steam page, as well as other social media channels such as:
