Final Club Competition during Early Access with exclusive reward
Dear Explorers,
As announced last week, Curious Expedition 2 version 1.0 will launch on January 28th. For the last Club Competition during the Early Access period we decided to give as a reward an exclusive equippable hat which will never appear again as a reward in the future. This is a small way for us to say "thank you" to everyone who has supported us before the 1.0 release.
Here's the Laurel Wreath:
FAQ
Is this hat providing any advantages while playing the game?
No, all hats which are rewarded as part of the weekly Club Competition are purely cosmetic, they don't affect your in-game abilities in any way.
When is this Club Competition running?
The Club Competition has already started and will end on January 28th at 11am CET.
What is the goal of the current Club Competition?
The goal is to collect and return crystals to Paris. To find crystals you need to seek contact with mole people, the miners of the curious islands, which you can meet in the cavern biomes, that are unlocked in 1888.
What do I have to do in order to win the hat?
First of all, in order to participate you need to visit one of the three Explorer Clubs in Paris and select Join Competition. This option will only be unlocked once you've reached the year 1887 in the game (completing the first story expedition) at least once. Once the Club Competition ends, if the Explorer Club you joined is the one that has returned the highest amount of crystals you will automatically receive the hat.
What happens if the Explorer Club I joined doesn't win the competition?
As long as you joined the Club Competition and returned at least 1 crystal to Paris, you will be able to purchase the hat (in exchange for 20 tickets) until February 9th at 11am CET. After this date, the Laurel Wreath hat will never appear as a reward again in the game.
Can I switch to a different Explorer Club while the Club Competition is running?
No, once you joined one of the Explorer Clubs for the Club Competition, you won't be able to switch to a different Explorer Club until the competition has ended.
Good luck!
