We made it! Curious Expedition 2 is leaving Early Access today. We'd like to thank once again all the players who supported us during the past few months and shared their feedback with us: you really helped us create a much better game.
To celebrate the launch, we've put the game on 10% discount for a week, so if you haven't joined the adventure yet, this is an excellent time to do it. Make sure to check out the Curious Expedition 1 & 2 Collection Bundle for an additional discount.
As we said before, please remember that this version 1.0 is not the "final" version of the game: we're already working on content updates to be released in the upcoming months.

- Desertification Shrine aftermath now teleports you and makes you lose time (like a desert storm)
- Adjusted budget ramp up to end on an even number and have more obvious scaling early on
- Tortoise Mobile Cover combo now applies armor and taunt to self
- Mushrooms now show their gameplay effects in the info box
- Strength mushroom now adds damage in combat and adds +2 capacity
- Strength and loyalty mushrooms now last for 10 trips
- Various minor balance changes to animal equipment to bring them more in line with human equipment
- Improved performance of changes to the map (eg volcano eruption, raise/lower ground scroll usage, etc)
- Sandworm now ignored Taunt on the leader when performing Engulf attack

- Added '(Hold)' text to item infobox Drop prompt when using mouse to make it clearer you have to hold the button
- When selecting a locked cosmetic, you can press Back but doing so cancels the selection automatically

- New sandstorm animations
- It is now possible to buy from the ship shop multiple times before starting an expedition
- Added slightly more Sanity gain and items to Act II on lower difficulties
- Scout Posts now reveal Locations as well as Tiles, making them more useful
- Stun is no longer applied to both Rider and Mount during combat
- Reduced the Fame gain bonuses from Cartography and Anthropology
- Increased the Fame bonus for Taxonomy
- Butterflies now get a Fame bonus from Taxonomy

- Fixed Sinking Tower sinking before it was discovered (also fixes cartography checklist not being completable when there's a Sinking Tower)

- Paying tribute for your sacrilege now correctly removes the Angry Natives that were following you
- Characters will no longer complain about the cooking of high-level chefs
- Fixed a number of issues with the Village Gift Quest's target selection and delivery events
- Prevented infinite rivals from spawning in Story 3A
- Fixed a handful of issues where high-level skills were not improving correctly between levels
- Recruiting in Mole Villages no longer boots you to the map
- Failing to Steal from Villages can no longer block story progress
- It's no longer possible to dig up the Missing Explorer's treasure more than once
- Any body equipment that grants Armor no longer lists it twice in its tooltip
- Fighting Moles in Story 4A will no longer make the Salamanders hate you
- Nurses now correctly apply their skills, even at higher levels
- Added taxonomy bonuses to a handful of items that were missing it
- Fixed numerous "Infinite Malin" exploits. There is only one of her, and an all-Malin party is not a valid strategy
