Here are the changes in today's patch:

• Mangos and Seashells can no longer be found in Highlands
  
• Added notification when Bad Dice effects happen
  
• The Shady Dealer will no longer offer items from the "magic" category when having a sale, but instead offer a few special pieces of equipment

• Fixed Pale Mask members leaving much earlier than intended
  
• Fixed flood event not happening properly in Highlands
  
• Fixed Magnifying Glass not providing bonus dice in Shipwreck search
  
• Fixed notifications not appearing on the map at some resolutions
  
• Fixed game being saved in a broken state when quitting during events
  
• Fixed achievement for maximum Avalon club level not unlocking

We've updated the build a couple of times already since the DLC launch yesterday - thanks to everyone who sent in bug reports! Here are the notes:

• Fixed not being able to use the Stone Disc to reveal the Portal in Act 3 Part 2
  
• Fixed Storm Lantern search bonus dice providing the wrong number of faces
  
• Fixed Kobold "Slice Throat" attack not being boostable
  
• Fixed missing notification when Pacifist character loses loyalty due to combat
  
• Fixed item bonuses not properly being applied if upgraded at Lux while equipped
  
• Fixed egg/meteorite hatching not working correctly if triggered at the end of an escort travel
  
• Fixed Anthropologist not starting a new campaign with equipment
  
• Fixed attacks that reduce sanity not doing so
  
• Fixed the very first time you try to join a Club Challenge as a new user always failing
  
• Fixed various minor graphical issues in new Highlands scenes

• Reduced 'Bagpipes' price from 150 to 100
  
• Reduced Stone Fragmant price
  
• Joobee will no longer dig up Fairy Stones
  
• Pict Shaman's "Divine Power" attack now can target an enemy, and applies armor to all Allies

[h2]Fixes[/h2]

• Fixed Act 1 expedition not properly being generated the very first time you played after the tutorial
  
• Fixed characters and items with multiple copies of the same dice not being properly added (eg Animals, Butterfly Swords, Seeker)
  
• Fixed not enough enemies spawning on maps that contained an Undead Pirate Gang

The Highlands of Avalon DLC is available now!

The DLC features a brand new island type (the Highlands) with new tile types, items, locations, enemies, recruitable characters and more. Once the DLC is activated it will expand possibilities across the entire game, both in Campaign Mode and Director Mode.

• New island type: Highlands, with a completely new set of tiles, a new game mechanic related to traversing hills and valleys, a new tribe called the Picts and a new artwork for shrines
  
• 8 new Recruitable characters: Grail Knight, Precious Clydesdale (horse), Kobolds (3 variants: Bard, Scoundrel, Shaman), Picts islanders (3 variants: Spiritual Druid, Pictish Outrider, Tattooed Warrior)
  
• 4 new Enemies: Stone Golem, Kobolds, Lake Serpent, Black Wolves
  
• 6 new Locations: Giant Horn, Wishing Well, Pointing Statue, Wild Kobolds, Lake Serpent, Precious Clydesdale Herd
  
• 7 new pieces of Equipment: Pictish Spear, Pictish Crossbow, Bag Pipes, Legendary Blade, Magnifying Glass, Cuirass, Armoured Boots
  
• 5 new Items: Fairy Stones, Kobold Ear Wax, Stone Fragment, Bird call, Sea Monster scale
  
• 4 new Levels to unlock at the Royal Avalon Society Explorer Club in Paris, giving access to 1 Recruitable character and 3 pieces of Equipment

To celebrate the launch of the DLC we have a special Avalon-themed hat as a reward for this week's Club Competition: the Silent Knight.



This is the first in a series of paid DLCs that will be released in the upcoming months. That being said, we are still planning to release free updates for the game in the future: there will be an Endless Mode option coming very soon, many of you have been asking for that. Additionally, the game is currently being localised into Spanish, Russian and Traditional Chinese.

The soundtrack for the game is also on its way!
