'Eternal Combat' Major Update Part I 0.8.12

Hello Threadbearers,


This is Part I of II for this major update.
The next major update will be released by May 14th, 2024.

This update adds lots of new content: a new Weapon Skills system, completely overhauled equipment/inventory system, combat improvements, QOL improvements, and much more.

New content
  • Weapon Skills: Every weapon has a new unique skill
  • Hold light attacks: this replaces heavy attacks
  • Inventory overhaul: can choose swappable weapons, shields, consumables, and spells
  • Auto lock-on setting: much more comfortable for casual play or beginners
  • Travel map points of interest

Fixes and Tweaks
  • Improved tooltips and fixed tooltips on higher aspect ratios
  • Improved visibility through camera obstructions (trees, leaves)
  • Fixed some particles lingering forever and causing slowdown
  • And other minor fixes and tweaks

Fixed online character data saving issue exceeding network limits

Update 0.7.34

This small update fixes many major bugs and tweaks some values.

  • Level up improvements are roughly 2x more impactful
  • Map structures are cheaper and drop more often
  • Fixed empty grave loots crashing the game
  • Fixed NG+ characters not loading correctly
  • Fixed mourning player names not being saved/populated
  • Bauk health nerfed
  • Players start with 10 more HP
  • and other minor fixes and tweaks
