You'll ease in with an exploration sequence of the Workers' Quarter and then move through a selection of various levels.[/p][p]"Protected by his headphones, Felix, the game's protagonist, has broken free from the loudspeakers’ control and finds himself in the streets of the cardboard city of Phonopolis. [p][/p][h3]Hello, travelers![/h3][p]We’re excited to share a closer look at Pilgrims: Curious Adventures, our very first board game developed in collaboration with our friends at Pink Troubadour. It’s inspired by the whimsical world of our video game Pilgrims, but instead of doing a one-to-one adaptation, we brewed up something new: a highly replayable, easy-to-learn yet deeply tactical tabletop adventure. Our goal was to keep the charm and playfulness of the original while creating mechanics that feel right at home on your table.[/p][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p]In Pilgrims: Curious Adventures, you can compete with up to three friends or even venture out solo. You’ll wander across an ever-changing map of cards to recruit companions and collect useful items. Combine movement and collected cards in thoughtful, puzzle-like ways to trigger special abilities and complete adventures to earn points and party improvements. As your party grows stronger, so do the possibilities for clever tactics and combos.[/p][p]In a recent interview for Riseher.cz, designer and illustrator Radim Jurda (lead designer and artist on Creaks) shares how a small card prototype grew into a full-fledged board game, how he balanced a playful atmosphere with strategic gameplay, and what it’s been like to bring Amanita’s signature style into a new medium.
