Balance and Patch Notes - 5th Alpha Test 2nd Weekend
Hi everyone. GM Aesop here. Yesterday, we showed you some stats regarding the win rates and things regarding different characters. We’ve taken some of your feedback, along with the game data, to make some changes.

- Wild animals
- We're reducing the amount of mastery XP you get when killing wild animals by just a bit, but hunting has become easier and there are now more wild animals.
- Number of wild animals increased. 13 chickens, 4 bats, 7 boars, 7 wild dogs, 5 wolves, and 2 bears are entering the island!
- The amount of mastery XP gained from dealing damage to and taking damage from wild animals has been significantly reduced. Instead, we're increasing the XP gained from killing wild animals.
The attack power/attack speed/defense/HP of wild animals has been reduced by 10~20%. - When wolves use their Howling skill, you will only be attacked by a maximum of 2 wolves.

- Masteries
- Additional Defense Mastery XP given when hunting wild animals.
- For every 100 damage dealt to wild animals, the amount of weapon mastery received has been reduced from 30 to 5 and hunting mastery has been reduced from 50 to 40.
- For every 100 damage taken from wild animals, the amount of defense mastery received has been reduced from 35 to 10 and hunting mastery reduced from 50 to 10.
- For every 100 damage taken, you receive 15 Health mastery, down from 30.
- For every 50m moved, you now gain 55 movement mastery, down from 50.
- Additional Defense Mastery XP given when hunting wild animals.
- Fixed a bug where clicking a box wouldn't open it
[h2]Optimization[/h2]
- Added a setting allowing you to manually adjust the FPS cap. FPS is automatically capped at 60, but you can adjust it in Settings > Screen > FPS cap. If your PC is powerful enough, you can go up to 120 FPS, softening the image. You can also lower the cap if your PC is a bit weaker, allowing you to have a more steady experience.
- We fixed a backend bug that that occured when collecting real-time information from all the players (e.g., items, crafting, mastery, etc.) in your match. There is no change in what you'll see, but this bugfix should help those who experienced "mini" frame lag in-game. (Some players who experienced this called it "mini lag" where your character would move forward normally and then snap backwards just a bit)
