[Patch Note] 3rd Alpha Test

Here is the patch note for our 3rd Alpha test.

Hyunwoo
Weapon skills is a feature that was introduced in the 2nd Alpha Test. Four new weapon skills have been added.
You can use each weapon's unique skills by pressing the D key. Every weapon skill can be activated at Mastery Lv7 and Enhanced at Lv14.

[1. Character]
New character: Fiora
- Fiora is our first new character joining our 3rd Alpha test. Find out more about her skills below.
- Touché (passive skill): every time Fiora deals damage to an enemy with a normal attack, she earns a stack of Touché. When the number of stacks reaches 5/4/3, the Touché indicator activates for 4 seconds.
- Fente (Q): Fiora attacks in the targeted area and deals 75/150/225/300/375 damage to the enemies she hits. If the enemies have the Touché indicator, she procs the indicator, dealing 0.8 extra Attack Power damage to them and reducing Fente's cooldown by half. (Cooldown 16/14/12/10/8 seconds)
- Attaque Composée (W): Fiora's attacks the target two times for the next normal attack. The second attack deals 20/35/50/65/80% damage. For every Touché indicator she procs, the cooldown for Attaque Composée decreases by 2 seconds. (Cooldown 20 / 17 / 14 / 11 / 8 seconds)
- Marche & Rompre (E): Fiora charges to the targeted area for 0.4 seconds on 4m, dealing 100/150/200/250/300 (+ 0.35 Attack Power)damage to all enemies hit and reducing their movement speed by 30%. If the enemies have the Touché indicator, she procs the indicator, dealing 220/330/440/550/660 (+0.8 Attack Power) damage and reducing their movement speed by an extra 70%. If she deals damage to an enemy, she can use the skill again within the next 2 seconds and move back. (Cooldown 22/19/16/13/10 seconds)
- Garde (R): Fiora adopts an elaborate posture and powerfully attacks. For every normal attack, it uses 25/45/65 of stamina and deals 20/25/30 (+0.1/0.2/0.3 of Attack Power) extra damage. When her stamina reaches 25/45/65, the skill is automatically deactivated.
New character: Nadine
- Nadine is our second new character joining our 3rd Alpha test. Find out more about her skills below.
- Wild & Clairvoyant (passive): Nadine gets a stack of Wild for every wild animal she slays (Chicken 4/6/8, Bat and Wild Boar 8/10/12, Hound and Wolf 12/16/20, Bear 20/25/30). Wild animals located inside a certain range also appear on the minimap.
- Bull's Eye (Q): Nadine gathers her strength for 2 seconds, reducing her movement speed until it reaches -30% and increasing her skill range up to 2 times. If she has more than 50 Wild stacks, her skill range increases up to 2.5 times. If she uses the skill again, she shoots an arrow and deals 50/80/120/150/180~100/160/240/300/360 (+1 ~ 2 Attack Power) damage. After 5 seconds, the effects end and she recovers 50% of her lost stamina.
- Squirrel Trap (W): Nadine throws a Squirrel Trap at the targeted location, dealing 100/170/240/310/380 damage to any enemies it hits and arming itself after it lands. You can throw another trap within 5 seconds. If the distance between the traps is less than 5m, they get connected. Enemies that get caught in the connected traps have their movement speed reduced by 40%, and Nadine can see them for 5 seconds. The connected traps disappear after 180 seconds. (Cooldown 26/22/18/14/10 seconds)
- Monkey Wire (E): while active, Nadine's attack speed increases by 10/15/20/25/30%. Nadine throws a wire at the designated location. The installed wire stays for 6 seconds in a 11m range. While it's installed, her attack speed increases by an additional 10/20/30/40/50%. If you activate the skill again, the wire returns to its anchor and Nadine moves.
- Wolf Assault (R): for some time, a wolf gets summoned every 3 normal attacks. The wolf attacks the enemy and deals 80/140/200 damage, in addition to slowing them down by 35% (Nadine deals more damage the more Wild stacks she has).

Hyunwoo
- First Attack (E) deals extra damage when it makes enemies hit a wall and get stunned.
[2. Weapon Skill]
Weapon skills is a feature that was introduced in the 2nd Alpha Test. Four new weapon skills have been added.
You can use each weapon's unique skills by pressing the D key. Every weapon skill can be activated at Mastery Lv7 and Enhanced at Lv14.
Bow weapon skills
- Rain of arrows: you fire a bouquet of arrows at the selected spot, making it rain arrows. The arrows reach the target after 3 seconds, dealing 150/250 (+1.0 Attack Power) damage to the opponent hit by the rain of arrows in addition to slowing them down by 30%. Enemies located at the center of the rain of arrows take 450/750 (+3.0 Attack Power) damage. (Cooldown 30 seconds)
- Expulsion shot: you fire the crossbow in the selected direction. The opponent hit by it takes 1.5/2.0 Attack Power damage and is pushed back. If the enemy hits a wall and gets stunned, he takes 1.3/2.0 extra damage. (Cooldown 30 seconds)
Spear weapon skills
- Shadow stab: you powerfully strike with the spear in the selected direction, dealing 1/1.5 Attack Power damage to opponents 2m away, and 1/1.5 Attack Power damage to opponents 4m away. Enemies hit by the attack have their movement speed reduced by 70% for 2 seconds, and all enemies in a 2m range get pushed back. (Cooldown 30 seconds)
- Quick cut: you charge towards the targeted enemy and deal 2.0/2.5 Attack Power damage. (Cooldown 30 seconds)
[3. What's new]
Here are the new elements and features you will be able to find in the 3rd Alpha test.
Wild animals-related changes
- The rabbits and foxes have been removed, and chicken, bats, boars, and hounds have been added.
- The temporary models of the wolves and bears have also been changed for models that have been designed internally.
- "Homebound" feature added: now if the wild animals get away from their original location, a "homebound" time indicator will appear on them. When the time is up, their HP will recover and they will automatically return to their original location.
Hyperloop
- The Hyperloop is a feature that allows you to travel long distances.
- There are 5 or 6 Hyperloops on the whole island. You can right click on it and choose your destination to travel quickly to an area far away.
- The Hyperlooped has to be chanelled for 4 seconds and consumes stamina.
- After operating it, you will arrive at one of the area's starting point.
Last restricted area
- The last location will also shrink when the last restricted area ends.
- Your timer will start counting down if you do not go inside the SAFE ZONE that will appear somewhere inside the last restricted area.
- The safe zone appears near a console.
CCTV and security console
- There are now around 5 to 7 CCTV per area.
- If you right-click on the security console of each area, you can see through the CCTV for 3 minutes after it loads.
Crafting guide
- You can finally check the crafting guide from the lobby.
BGM and sound effects
- Each area now has its own BGM.
- Sounds effects for skills, crafting, movements, wild animals and more have been added.
Footstep sounds
- The ground on which the characters step is taken into account, making different sounds as they step on different materials.
- The footsteps have been changed so that they are more irregular, making it harder to guess the direction and distance of the owner.
Crafting animations added
- Two new animations have been added. One for crafting items and the other for cooking food and preparing beverages.
[4. Improvement]
The following elements have been improved following the feedback received during the 2nd Alpha test.
Servers
- During the 3rd Alpha test, 3 servers will be open during the whole duration of the test: Frankfurt server, Ohio server and Seoul server.
- Each server ping's will be indicated and you can choose your server.
- There may be insufficient number of players on a specific server at certain hours. If you have trouble getting a match, don't hesitate to try to switch servers.
Gameplay
Damage changes
- Extra damage and damage reduction options for normal attacks and skills have been added.
- The cross, gunpowder and higher ranked items deal extra damage when hitting a target with a normal attack.
- The fan, ash and higher ranked items deal extra damage when hitting a target with a skill. Items ranked higher than the Buddhist scripture and gold deal a certain percentage of extra damage when hitting the target and dealing damage with a skill.
- Ash and gold were added.
- The damage received from normal attacks is reduced when using the windbreaker and higher ranked items.
- The damage received from skills is reduced when using full body swimsuit and higher ranked items.
- Weapon mastery now deal a certain percentage of extra damage for normal attacks instead of increasing the attack power. The defense mastery now reduces the damage taken by a certain percentage.
- This change in the damage system is mostly about numbers, but it affects quite a lot every skill and normal attack. Every character's skill damage has been adjusted according to this change in the damage system.
Single Play mode
- The AI bots for Single play mode have been improved. They now don't follow the players blindly.
Movement
- As the Hyperloop offers a way to travel long distances, we adjusted a bit the movement speed for other features:
- Each character's normal movement speed has been reduced by -0.2m/s
- The movement speed increase per level for the movement mastery has been increased from 0.03 —> 0.015m/s while not in combat.
- Stamina regeneration has been increased a bit. The efficiency of items that increase your maximum stamina has been reduced a bit.
UI
- The UI of the lobby has been improved. You can now also zoom in and out on the character you selected.
- The in-game UI has been changed completely.
- If you press the Alt key, you can now see the corpses and name of items that have been dropped around you.
- The minimap design has been improved.
- To help you get your bearings, unnecessary descriptions were removed and the geographical features have been highlighted.
- 25 item icons have been added.
