1. Title
   • ERWI 2021 : SEA(+CHINESE HK/MO/TW) REGIONAL QUALIFIERS
2. Enrollment & Inquiry
   • When: May 12th 17:00PM ~ May 19th midnight (KST)
     
   • Registration & Inquiry : Register through ER Esports Discord https://discord.gg/xFnyFUpTE2
     (Only registration via team captain is required & an English team name is needed)
3. Event Structure
   • Participants: 36 Teams(If the number of registration exceeds the limit, the top 36 teams will be selected based on team average MMR until May 20th 11:00AM maintenance)
     
   • Winner Calculation
     
   • Qualifiers : Points total after 3 rounds
     
   • Semi-Finals : Points total after 3 rounds
     
   • Finals: Points total after 5 rounds
     
   • Round Points
     - Placement Points: 1st: 16, 2nd: 9, 3rd: 6, 4th: 3, 5~6th: 0
     - Kill Points: 5 Points per kill

   • Game Settings
     Acceleration of Restricted Areas ON, All players must enable 'Hide nickname from enemy', Emotes are banned

This is our very first WORLDWIDE event, and there are a lot of moving parts, but we're getting there together.

There's a couple things that you all have been asking me about that I want to talk about:

1: Venue

Things are still shaking up on our end. We're working on getting a venue with people here in Korea, but restrictions have made it difficult.
I'm hoping to have it be an in-person event for the NA and Korea teams, but this is still being worked on. Stay tuned for more info.
* All other teams will remain in their home regions.

2: Qualifiers

Aside from NA, each region will have a qualifier tournament. (See above for details)
This is due to time restrictions on getting players here and this being the first event where we're still working out the kinks.
The finals for the other regions will (likely) be streamed. I'll provide more details on this in the coming weeks as well.

3: NA Roster

After discussion with people here at NN and reading feedback from the community, I extended invitations to two team captains, Scaz and Homecoming, a few weeks ago and had them compose teams. Both are exceptional players and have done a lot for the community.
For future events, when things have eased up a bit, and time isn't quite as tight, we'll also hold qualifiers in both NA and EU.

Think of this event as us laying the groundwork for us to scale up and have larger exciting events in the future!
