Recommended Builds: HyunWoo

The third in our series of recommended builds, we’re here to share our favorite items on HyunWoo.

If you have your own favorite builds or itemization, send them our way! We’d love to hear it.

We scoped out HyunWoo’s abilities and gameplay in our last post, so check out this video on where and how to find his items:

Although a lot of people like gloves, the Plasma Tonfa is a good item for him. It gives him attack power and defense. HyunWoo takes advantage of defense since he has to get up close and personal with his enemies.

Radar is a super beneficial piece of arm armor for HyunWoo. It gives him more defense and attack speed, which is a nice way for him to proc his passive more often and heal in brawls.

Lastly, the Uchiwa. HyunWoo takes advantage of the Uchiwa’s life steal, which gives him a little more life between Dogfight procs, and its SP regen, as his abilities start to get a bit expensive as he levels them up.

Avenue > Alley > School > Archery Range > Hotel is a quick and easy route for him to get all 3 items.

Join our kickass DISCORD SERVER to discuss a route you would take as HyunWoo.

Stay tuned - our next quick tips will feature the character in the 4th Alpha with the highest win probability: Magnus.

Character Quick Tips: HyunWoo

Come one, come all! It’s time for HyunWoo’s Character Quick Tips with me, your friend, GM Aesop.

 • HyunWoo is a close range brawler, so start his combo with his E to close the gap between him and his enemies, lower their defense, and potentially stun them.
 • Your enemy will have a tendency to try and create distance from you by using their own forms of CC, so time your W well and you can avoid it all.
 • When your enemy tries to run, you can use your Q to slow them. This also helps you, if you so choose, hit them with a more powerful ult!

HyunWoo has a choice of two weapons: Gloves and Tonfas. His weapons will be here as well, so you can take a glance at which of the two will better fit you for the 5th Alpha!

Check back on Thursday for a short video on his most effective items and how to find them.

Naturally, you can always find these tips, and more, in the "Tip" section in-game.

Happy Lunar New Year from BS:ER~
BS:ER wishes you a Happy Lunar New Year!
Hello, this is Nimble Neuron.

As a Korean company, we could not miss the Lunar New Year, as it is one of the most important traditional holidays here.

The Korean Lunar New Year is actually called "Seollal" and is generally celebrated for three days. It is a family holiday - a bit like how Christmas is all about family in the West, amd most Koreans go back to their hometown to be with their relatives. Some families perform ancestral rites, and most eat traditional food and play games. Children also usually get money envelops after formally bowing to their elders.

BS:ER is also celebrating this special occasion with a new community event!
Rat Survival: Eternal Return (Lunar New Year Community Event)
2020 is the “Year of the Rat!” 🐀 Unfortunately for us here at the Nimble Neuron offices, we are experiencing a bit of a Rat problem right now. It seems that Rats have gotten into a lot of our websites. YouTube, Facebook, Discord, even our Nimble Neuron website! All infested!

To make matters worse, since it’s the holidays, all the exterminators are closed. Therefore, I, GM_Aesop, come to you all, hat in hand, and ask for your help in finding all the rats.

There are 25 rats hiding away all throughout our websites. Anywhere you can find BS:ER stuff, rats are probably there.

If you find all the rats, you’ll get a special reward.
Find 10 rats: get 50,000 Access Codes (Discord mini-game currency) 20 rats: A ticket to Pokju Reservoir + 75,000 Access Codes (Discord mini-game ticket and currency) All 25 rats: *Unique Exterminator Role* + A ticket to Pokju Reservoir + 100,000 Access Codes (Discord role, mini-game ticket and currency)

Send a DM to GM_Aesop or GM_GeeBly on Discord with a list of Rats you’ve found!

The search begins now until the February 29th, 12:00 AM (PST) (5 PM KST)

※ Rats located on identical images found in separate places do not count towards your total!

Recommended Builds: Aya

Hello, GM_GeeBly here again!

We’re continuing our series on our official recommended builds, this time with everyone’s favorite police officer, Aya.

A lot of testers already have their favorite build and routes, but we watched new players during our last Alpha test and felt like we could give them some tips into getting into a game and going against our most experienced players. Of course, these recommended builds are only suggestions -- your own builds might be more efficient or fit your style more than ours, so don't hesitate to share yours with us!

In our previous post, we did a little dive into Aya's abilities and gameplay; this post will be a quick look at what items we think are efficient and strong to build.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Her weapon to build is a pistol, the Magnum-Boa. It has a lot of stats that Aya really takes advantage of. Attack Power and Attack Speed are essential for Aya since a lot of her damage is reliant on auto attacks, and the increased Vision Range gives her a longer de-facto range.
A choice armor piece to build is the Commander’s Armor for the skill amplification. Buffing her Steady Shot adds a lot of DPS to her kit. Finally, try and go for the Sword of Shah Jahan. It gives her more attack power and skill amp, but also adds some crit chance for her auto attacks.

A quick and easy way to grab all 3 of these items would be Factory > Cemetery > Pond > Avenue.

Is that a different route than you take with Aya?

You can leave your own suggestions in the comments or come discuss it with us on our Discord server.

Next week, look forward to HyunWoo’s skills and recommended build!

Character Quick Tips: Aya

Hello my dear friends, GM Aesop here with another Character Quick Tips.
Today, we're gonna take a look at Aya's gameplay
• Aya is very reliant on Auto Attacks, so use her Q to give her a quick burst of damage with 2 auto attacks.
 • Her W is a big source of DPS, especially against wild animals with predictable movements.
 • Moving Turn, her E, is a good source of movement. You can use it over walls to escape or to close the gap on a fleeing player.

Aya also has the ability to choose between 3 weapons. You can check all her weapons at a glance here as well, so think about which weapon you'd like to start with when you pick Aya in the 5th Alpha!

Of course, with our Quick Tips series, we'll have a short video on Thursday that'll give you an overview of some of her most efficient items!

You can always find these tips, and more, in the "Tip" section in-game.
