[New Contents] Introducing the bladed weapon skills!

Hello! This is GM_TempuraUdon ^^/

Today we will introduce a system that was not there in the previous Alpha test.

Let's talk about weapon skills.

You can use each weapon's characteristic skill by pressing the D key.
Even if you use the same characters, you can have totally different game experiences by choosing different weapons, because they each have different motions and crafting process.

For example, a Jackie with a one-handed sword and a Jackie with an axe are the same Jackie but they end up being quite different when playing.
So you will be able to have different game experiences depending on the weapon and the character you choose.

The weapon skills are also a good way to fulfill your fantasies about the weapon you are using.
When your character is using a certain weapon, it's also a way to feel the unique features of that weapon.

To really feel the unique features of the weapon, it involves various elements like the character's skill, the weapon's range, the attack power and speed, etc.
But let's try to take a closer look at the active skill that is activated by pressing the D key.

One-handed sword > Cloak and dagger

When using the cloak effect, you become transparent and your movement speed increases.
The increased movement speed decreases again after some time.
If you use a normal attack on the enemy when the dagger effect is activated, it moves you behind the enemy and deals critical damage.

"Cloak and dagger" is an old expression.
That's right. Players that have leveled up their mastery will be able to become transparent when they raise the one-handed sword!
You can become transparent for a moment with the one-handed sword and try to ambush the enemy by appearing right behind him.

Two-handed sword > Parry

You raise your sword and take a defensive position, protecting you from the attacks and effects coming from the front.
If the defense works, you charge towards the enemy that attacked, dealing damage to all enemies in your path.

The two-handed sword is the most standard of BS:ER's weapons.
The 'Parry' skill, which lets the opponent attack first to then counterattack, becomes even better as the game flows, making the players who mastered the two-handed swords even stronger.

Hatchet> Berserk

Every time you use a normal attack on an enemy, you receive Berserk stacks. Your attack power increases in proportion to the Berserk stacks you have.
If you use this skill, your attack power increases depending on the number of Berserk stacks you have and in proportion to how much HP you have lost.

The hatchet is a berserk weapon, falling down heavily on its target at every blow.
The berserk weapon gets scarier the less HP you have.
Try to plan your strategy on the HP you have left, and you will be able to perform a pretty scary attack.

Dual swords > Dual sword rampage

You charge into the chosen direction and deal damage to all enemies in your path.
If you succeed in attacking enemies, you can use the skill one more time.

Nothing is better than dual swords for a fancy sword dance.
By picking the dual swords and using the "dual sword rampage" you will be able to attack with more style than anyone in the island.
Try to scare your enemy to death by attacking repeatedly!

Today we introduced mostly weapons that Jackie will use.
You can expect other weapon skills in the next post! Can you guess which ones it will be?

That's it for today's news! I will see you in the next one.
Please everyone, 'survive' until then!

'I can play 17vs1' Magnus' skills spotlight!

Hello! This is GM_TempuraUdon.

Today, I would like to introduce you Magnus' skills.

Magnus has various skills that can debuff others, along with the wide-range 17 vs 1 skill.
Let's try to dominate the enemy by taking advantage of the skills' synergy effect.

This is Magnus' passive skill, Tough Body.

Magnus' defense power increases in proportion to his decreased HP.
Don't look down on him because he has low HP. Dealing with damage to him can be harder than you think!

This is the Q skill: Broken Bullet.

If you use the Q skill, Magnus smashes the ground, throwing a rock that deals damage to others.
Targets hit by the rock see their movement speed decreased, which will recover slowly over time.

When talking about Magnus, this is the skill everyone thinks about: 17 vs 1.

Magnus swings his weapon when you use the W skill, dealing damage to his surroundings for a certain time.
The enemies that cannot move because of the 17 vs 1 skill receive 1.5 times more damage.
Attacking the enemy first with Broken Bullet and then using 17 vs 1 deal even more damage!

Heavy Strike is Magnus' E skill.

When using Heavy Strike, Magnus strikes the enemy, dealing damage to him and sending him flying to Magnus' left.
If the enemy hits a wall, he faints for a few seconds.
If you think a bit about what direction will the skill send the enemy to before using it, you could knock him out.

Here is Magnus' ultimate skill: Bike from Hell.

Magnus summons the bike he rides as the biker gang leader and rides it.
You can choose the direction in which to move while riding the bike, and if you use the skill once more Magnus throws the bike in front of him and escapes.
If the bike hits an enemy, a wild animal or a wall, it explodes and deals damage to all surroundings.

A bit off-topic, but you can also see Magnus' bike on the character selection screen ^o^
It looks really cool so don't forget to check it out in the lobby!

Time flies by! There are only 2 weeks left until the 2nd Alpha test.

Magnus' in-game motion preview.

Hello, this is GM_TempuraUdon.

If you didn't apply for the 2nd Alpha test yet, please click on this link and fill out the form!

Following the latest news, we are going to reveal Magnus' motions today.

Rather than use words, I think it will be better to show you!
Should we take a look?

This is the attack motion.
Most of you already know, but Magnus mostly uses blunt weapons.
We will show you in detail which weapons Magnus can use next time.

This is the rest motion.
He's cool even when he's resting +_+
You can feel that he's never going to put both knees down!

And! The motion that you will mostly get to see: running.
Since he's tall, are his legs long too? He runs in long strides so it looks like he can go anywhere in no time!
Of course, there is no link between the moving speed and the motion ^^;;
In BS:ER, the more you move, the more your running speed increases.

We introduced you to Magnus' motions, which you will be able to find in the 2nd Alpha test.
And we will reveal soon something you all are curious about: Magnus' skills!
What skills will Magnus use in BS:ER? We can't wait to tell you!

That's it for today's news! I will see you in the next one.
Please everyone, 'survive' until then!

Introducing Magnus' 3D model

Hello, this is GM_TempuraUdon.

If you didn't apply for the 2nd Alpha test yet, please click on this link and fill out the form!

As promised, we are revealing Magnus' 3D model today.

Should we take a look at Magnus as a whole, first?

This is an image of the Magnus you will be able to see during the game.
Among all the other characters that have been released, Magnus is the one that required to work on details the most.

For example,

take a closer look at the pattern on Magnus' vest, which was already revealed in last week's concept art.

*this 3D model is still in development.

When it's bright, you cannot see the eyes of the skull on his back.

But when you see it in the shade, the eyes flash red lights!

You will be able to directly check Magnus' design during the 2nd Alpha test.
We hope to see many of you during the test 😄!!

That's it for today's news! I will see you in the next one.
Please everyone, 'survive' until then!

Burning it up! Revealing Magnus' original concept art!

Hello, this is GM_TempuraUdon!

It's been a while since the 1st Alpha test :D

Did you all apply for the 2nd Alpha test?
Since you can share contents of this test with other people, how about inviting your friends to play as well?

Today we will talk about something that you all were very curious about: Magnus' concept art!

Let's take a look!

Among all the test subjects, Magnus is one of the tallest.

As he is the character that will be used in 3D modeling as a basis to determine how tall the other characters will be, working on him was one of the priority.

Now everything has been remodeled in detail for the 3D version, from his tattoos to his weapon, including how he looks from the back.

Next time, we plan to release the 3D model that will allow you to see him entirely! I hope you are as eager to see it as we are to reveal it!

That's it for today's news! I will see you in the next one. Please everyone, 'survive' until then!
