In this 'quick answer' news, we will answer the question we got about custom controls!
We will keep answering the feedback questions briefly one by one to update you on what is coming next.




Custom key binds! It's a feature asked by quite a lot of players. We will indeed have this feature in Black Survival: Eternal Return.

However, it will only be available later, either in the test after the 3rd Alpha or right before Early Access.

We hear you and will make it possible as soon as possible for you to enjoy the game comfortably!

After organizing the main feedback we received in the last news, we wanted to answer those questions briefly one by one to update you on what is coming next.
More details will be published later in separate news.



This is one of the thing that came out the most in the 2nd Alpha test feedback. As there is a lot of items (weapons, armor gear, food, beverages, etc.) it can be a bit overwhelming to check the recipes and decide your strategy while already in a match.

When you take too much time to study your recipe... and die.

Time is precious, and many of you wanted to be able to check and learn the recipes of their desired items beforehand. We heard you! In the 3rd Alpha test, we will be adding a crafting item list that you can access from the lobby. You will be able to start planning your strategy before diving into a match and increase your chances to win.

We will be talking of this new feature a bit more in details in our steam news soon, so stay tuned!

Did everyone survive in our last Alpha Test ?

We received a lot of precious feedback from testers after our 2nd Alpha test, and we have been reading every entry carefully!
Some feedback were coming back a lot, so we want to try and answer it in the next days.

• Will we be able to see the crafting list in the lobby?
  
• Will there be a way to move around the map faster than walking/running?
  
• Will there be a BGM, more sound effects and character voices to make the game more dynamic?
  
• Can we make the animals move around instead of just standing there, waiting to be killed?
  
• Can we have more control on fights, for example a way to disengage from certain fights?
  
• Can we have a kill scoreboard that appear after our death?
  
• Can we have an option to change the controls in the settings?
  
• Will I be able to play BS:ER even if I do not have a very good PC?
  
• Will there be changes in the single player mode to make it a bit easier?

The 2nd Alpha Test has been completed after 12 hours of testing.

We hope a lot of people could see how fun BS:ER is and the growth potential it still has.

Just like the testers that have already participated in the 1st Alpha test could see the progress made during the 2nd one, make sure to keep following us to see how much more it evolves in the future.

The Dev team will keep doing further research and development with the help of your feedback.

When we have made enough progress, we will have another Alpha test.
We hope everyone can join us again.

You can still apply to test it if you didn't yet, by filling out this form.

We will receive applications until 11am (UTC), which is the open time of the last server.

You can also join our Discord Server to try out challenges and gain special community rewards.

Also make sure to check out the 'How to play' guide to get the basics of BS:ER.

• In Discord, testers will be receiving a 2nd Alpha tester role
  (only for users who wrote their Discord Nickname in the application form)
  ※Attention! if you leave the server, you automatically lose all the roles you had in the server.
  
  
• Your nickname will also be added in the game credits (only for testers who provide feedback)
  

The second alpha test will open 3 times for 4 hours. Each time it opens it will use a different server: Europe server, Tokyo server or North America server.

Here is the time schedule for each server:

• Europe server (the date and time schedule are based on the UTC/GMT)
  Date: 2019/08/10 (UTC/GMT)
  Time: 11am - 3pm (UTC/GMT)
  
  
• Tokyo server (the date and time schedule are based on KST and JST)
  Date: 2019/08/10 (KST/JST)
  Time: 3pm - 7pm (KST/JST)
  
  
• North America Server (the date and time schedule are based on PDT and EDT)
  Date: 2019/08/09 (PDT/EDT)
  Time: 7pm - 11pm (PDT)
  10pm -2am (EDT)
  

※You will be able to play even if the area you are in does not match the opened server. However, there can be some network delay issues.

There will be a 1-hour break between each server. When the servers are closed, we invite you to come to our Discord Server to share your opinion on the game before diving in again!


There is no NDA agreement in the 2nd Alpha Test.
You are welcome to share any contents about BS:ER on any platform.
