Hey, Birbers!

It's another day in your beautiful nature preserves and it's also another Wingspan patch day. This time, we made some quality of life changes and focused on improving both your online and offline experience. These should make your relaxing Wingspan sessions even more relaxing.

Without further ado, below are the changes and fixes introduced in today's patch:

Features:

• option to save during Tutorial added
  

Bugfixes:

• Fair-feather Friends online achievement fixed
  
• issues with gamepad controls in the online lobby fixed
  
• minor localization & text fixes
  

Quality of life changes:

• online performance improved
  
• overall game performance improved
  
• player names added as tooltips in online lobby

More chirps, more birbs, more sun - spring is here!

It's a lovely season, when the nature comes back to life. One place in particular is known for a phenomenon that compliments this season in a beautiful way.

We've added a new background, inspired by ths place, to celebrate Spring! Can you guess what it is by looking at the pictures? You probably can, but we'll still keep it a secret! Launch Wingspan to find out! There's also a special spring "Champ of the Birds" challenge coming in a few days!

Hey gamers,

We were able to gather from pretty reliable sources (which want to remain anonymous) that bugs taste best on Thursdays. We wanted to test that notion, so we took some of Wingspan's bugs and made bug spaghetti.

It was delicious.

Here's a list of what types of bugs we used in case you want to make your own. In other words, here's what's been fixed:

Bugfixes:

• fixed the turn pop-up not disappearing in some instances
  
• fixed the online game disconnect pop-up - when another player leaves the game, the text on the pop-up will now properly reflect that
  

Hopefully these changes make your online experience better and the spaghetti will turn out as tasty as ours.
