Terraria creator banned from his own forums, but there's a twist

Terraria is probably my favorite sandbox game ever, and it's largely due to the creator's connection with the community. Re-Logic, or more specifically Redigit, has dedicated his time to communication with the Terraria player base. From asking for suggestions to dropping hints about upcoming updates, there's nothing Redigit is afraid to touch on with fans when it comes to his game. He recently took to Terraria's official forums to share news about possible in-game features, but the fun was short-lived. Redigit has just been banned from his own forums... by his wife.

Terraria’s wild popularity means its devs still can’t give it up - but not for lack of trying

Is there such thing as too much success? In the case of smash-hit 2D Minecraft-a-like Terraria, its devs at Re-Logic might agree - they’ve apparently been trying to stop developing it for years, but it just won’t stop being so darn popular.

Terraria creator leaves Twitter, hints at "new spoilers" on forum

Terraria is probably my favorite sandbox game of all time, and one of my favorite things about it is how close the creator is to his community. Andrew Spinks, known better by his online alias Redigit, has always kept in touch with the Terraria fandom over social media. Whether this be by sharing what Re-Logic has in the works or by asking for suggestions from players themselves, the developer has always been open with us. After years of such communication via Twitter, however, Redigit has deleted his account and moved over to the official Terraria Community Forums instead.
