Terraria Collectible Figures Available for Preorder

Greetings Terrarians!

We wanted to share the awesome news that the first three Collectible Terraria figures that we have teased in past State of the Game posts are now available for preorder! These amazing pieces were developed by our partners at Skyland Arts, and are the first in what we hope will be several waves of figures that Terraria fans will love to get their hands on!

Skyland does not have its own digital storefront, so they have decided to utilize Kickstarter as their preorder method. The up-front expenses have been paid, the tooling of the steel production molds has already begun, and the factory is ready to produce the figures. This pre-order campaign helps Skyland to judge how many of each figure to produce and ensures that every Terrarian gets the one that they want most!

Without further ado, let's check out the lineup for this first wave of Terraria figures!
The Iconic Dryad

Shadow Armor & Light's Bane

The ominous Eye of Cthulhu - with removeable lens to reveal its toothy grin
Again, these will be available for preorder on the Kickstarter page below for the next month or so. While these figures may appear at a later date at retailers, the only way to ensure that you get your hands on the figure(s) that you want is to get your preorder in now!

Terraria has officially turned 10 years old with a small celebration update

Terraria, the 2D pixel-art sandbox survival adventure has now officially turned 10 years old and it's going as strong as ever.

Terraria celebrates tenth birthday with 50% off sale

Terraria, a long-running building game, turns ten this weekend - the very day this has been posted, in fact - and you can grab it at half off to celebrate.

Exactly one decade ago, on May 16, 2011, Terraria became available on Steam. Right now, if you go to the Steam page, or GOG, you can get it for 50% off, putting it at $4.99, or equivalent. Since release, the 2D Minecraft-like has continued to be regularly updated, patched, and watched over by developer Re-Logic. The bulk of the gameplay involves exploring and gathering resources, like many survival games that have sprung up over the years, and the pixel art gives it a roguelike quality.

Currently, it's the best-reviewed game on Steam, topping the Steam 250. Ports have come out across multiple generations of consoles, and a direct sequel was cancelled in 2018, when Re-Logic decided improving what's there is a better approach. A healthy modding scene has been providing new monsters, tools, features, and more for the bulk of Terraria's life, filling in any gaps of community demand where feasible. Before Stardew Valley, Rust, or many other contemporaries, there was Terraria.
