Weekly development log 13
- The last house for the Early Access version has been added. It's a small apartment in a high-rise building. This is the starting apartment where you can start your plant growing.
- It's not very luxurious, but not too small and you have a nice view from above. The scripts are still being revised so that you can also rent apartments.
- All other houses have been completed for the Early Access version. This is a view of the 2nd house small grow room.
- The design was revised again. It is still not the final design and will be improved in updates.
- These are the first strains you can grow. The range includes both normal and CBD varieties.
- The behavior of the plants has been adjusted realistically. The time and the yield are realistic depending on the variety.
- The financial view has been adjusted. All varieties were given different prices. There are now dynamic prices of all varieties. Sometimes one strain is hyped, which increases its price and decreases the price of all other varieties. This is also a pre-calculation for the bonus and the possibilities of the shop.
- A quick simulation was added. So you can skip the time extremely quickly. The game can now be played as a "normal" game using the time and grow factor, or you can use the simulation in the loading process. With this mode, the game only simulates the time between the last save point.
Again, the design of the menu is not the final design. - The monitors for monitoring have been optimized. There is now a minimum and maximum value and the color of the display shows whether the value is in the correct range.
- A realistic sound system has been added. The distance to the source and objects in between are calculated.
- A flashlight has been added in case it should be dark.
- - Steam achievements have been added. Your hard work should be seen.
- In addition, the Steam statistics and the Steam Cloud were configured.
- The game now has full controller support. - The quality of the textures has been increased and optimized. Now you can get very close to things without a great loss of quality, while the quality of the textures is minimized when you move away.
- Also this week the gameplay was tested and small bugs fixed. The optimization is not quite finished yet. Nevertheless, the Early Access version should be ready for publication in mid-September.
