CameraBag 2026.0 is out now

[p]We’re excited to announce that CameraBag 2026.0 (Photo and Pro) has arrived, bringing powerful new tools for creative overlays and precise editing. [/p][p][/p][p]With a new Freeform mode for skewing and distorting overlay images and several useful improvements to go-to tools like White Balance and Spot Mask, this release focuses on giving you more control and flexibility for those advanced finishing touches. Grab the update and check out the video below for details on how it works![/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]The new Freeform mode for the Image Overlay adjustment (renamed from Composite Image and now moved to the Utilities section) is perfect for things like overlaying a perspective-corrected screenshot onto an image of a device, allowing you to skew and distort your overlay images for a seamless blend. You can even use it to perspective-correct an entire image - just add a Composite Image adjustment, select the same file as your base file, and drag its corners outside the image bounds, tweaking their positions to adjust your entire photo’s perspective lines.[/p][p][/p][p]We've also worked on improving interactive tools like the White Balance adjustment to work better when opened in side-by-side tabs, and updated the Spot Mask adjustment to now use the same interactive radius control found in Spot Exposure, giving you more precise and intuitive control over your masked areas. CameraBag 2025.1: new Color Mask tool, expanded Split Tone adjustment, and more!

We’re pleased to announce that CameraBag 2025.1 has been released (Photo and Pro), bringing several usability improvements - the Split Tone and Hue Shift adjustments have been expanded, and a new easy-to-use Color Mask tool has been added!

CameraBag’s Masks section continues to grow with a new Color Mask tool. You can easily select the color range you want to edit using a simple color dropper tool (and falloff sliders), then do things like make only the sky darker, or make just the trees greener. An improved Split Tone adjustment gives you tremendously expanded editing possibilities with the addition of the Color Method dropdown (essentially different blend mode algorithms).

We’ve also added a Simple mode to the Hue Shift adjustment, and added copy/paste support to all color choosers so you can easily exactly match colors across adjustments. Plus bug fixes!

CameraBag 2024.3 is here!

We’re excited to announce the release of CameraBag 2024.3 (Photo and Pro), which contains tons of new features and workflow improvements including noise removal, chroma keying, photo/video flipping, a new color picker, and more! Grab the update and check out the video below for details on how it works (and upgrade for a discounted price if it's been more than a year since you last purchased CameraBag)!

We really don’t like generative AI in photo editing, but we’ve continued to add support for useful, compact, locally-run AI models with our new AI Denoise command (alongside our existing AI Upscale command). Just click on the button to remove excess analog and digital noise, including unwanted low-light grain and image compression artifacts.

Additionally we’ve added a bunch of new features like the ability to flip your photos and videos horizontally or vertically. CameraBag’s rotate, flip, and crop tools make reconfiguring your media for any site or device amazingly simple, especially when it comes to videos. Another handy video feature is the ability to open a video frame in a new tab and edit it as a photo, without having to first save out and then reload a video frame. Check the full feature list below for more!

CameraBag 2024.1 released with fast, local, unlimited AI upscaling!

We’re very excited to announce that CameraBag 2024.1 has been released, and includes a powerful and extremely useful new tool: AI upscaling! Grab the update and check out the video below for details on how it works (and upgrade for a discounted price if it's been more than a year since you last purchased CameraBag)!

Ever have an image that looks great but is simply too low-resolution? CameraBag 2024.1 has you covered with its new AI upscaling feature. This is one of those places where AI really can work magic, filling in details that don’t exist in the original as it creates a much higher-resolution version of your image. CameraBag’s upscaling works great on all kinds of images, from photos to paintings to stills from your favorite anime.

To upscale your image in CameraBag, simply press the “AI Upscale (4X)” button at the top of the Adjustments tab, or in the Edit menu. This will make a version of your image that is 4 times the original resolution in each dimension (maxing out at 10K pixels per side). It can be especially handy on crops, since cropping inherently reduces image resolution. Just make your crop, hit the upscale button, and voila: a super high-resolution crop.

Say goodbye to all those sites that want you to pay a subscription fee for a limited number of photo upscales - CameraBag’s AI upscaler runs locally on your computer (no uploading), and lets you upscale as many images as you want using the magic of the AI.
