Big Patch for Inkbound Demo Out Now!

Hello Inkbound fans!

We are releasing our first major live patch and it has a ton of changes, many of which come from your feedback and bug reports! The full details are below, but first we wanted to talk a little about the big changes.

First of all we've included many new ways to see what is going on in combat. Much of this still requires polish, but we wanted to get a version to you all as soon as possible. When moving you will now see much more clear lines where your cost to move will change, and above your head you'll see your total damage taken if you end your turn there and also the Will cost for your current action. You can also now hold Shift to drag the camera to look further afield while in combat or out!

We've also tuned the game to be both harder and also faster. We've eliminated a whole book, driving you to face the Villain after the second one, in order to get our run length closer to our 30-40 minute session time target. We've also made countless balance changes to battles, vestiges, and more to increase fun factor and balance.

Finally, we targeted many often reported bugs, including being unable to join parties, continue progression if someone moves while voting on a choice, and vanishing items. That said many of these bugs only happen in 'real life' situations and it's possible we didn't fully fix them in every case, so we appreciate your ongoing bug reports.
