For some reasons, the last 1.5.3 is having troubles with some people when updating. Looks likes something went wrong with Steam updater. If you are having an error when running a basic game, you'll need to uninstall and re-install RPG Paper Maker. This error was found on Linux, but could also apply to Windows or MacOS.
