Next Update Sneak Peek: New Rune Skills

With the next update coming soon (probably in the next few weeks), we wanted to give you a little preview of its biggest feature -- new rune abilities for each of the characters!
Vengeance:
Hildie needed her "big" ability and it's coming in the form of Vengeance. When used, Hildie draws all enemy attacks for a while, absorbs their power, and the retaliates with a huge explosion.

This skill has a strong screen-clearing potential, especially if you're heavily invested in the Special stat, but drawing all attacks comes at a heavy risk. Good timing and healer support is critical here.
Zapper:
Zhu now joins Erzsie as a hero who can summon her own help with the Zapper. It's a pocket automaton that -- well -- zaps enemies with armor-piercing bolts of electricity, increasing Zhu's single-target damage potential.

Zappers are rather fragile but spammable and they combo very well with Cauterize to quickly spread the burn status.
Secret Formula:
Nadia's new ability, Secret Formula, is situational but very powerful. It converts all poison on enemies into a stronger version that also reduces all their stats significantly.

It's best used on the toughest encounters containing several elite or boss enemies, that would otherwise be very difficult to break through.
Sucker Punch:
Ephrem mixes his tactical expertise with good old violence through his new ability to interrupt and cancel the next enemy action with a powerful armor-piercing strike.

Careful timing is critical to making the best use of this rune. While interrupting a regular attack might be helpful, what you're aiming for is cancelling a boss' signature move or something like a Golem sucking up all your beneficial effects.

In total, the update is going to contain 12 new runes to collects, as well as a large number of new endgame quests. We hope you're going to enjoy this new content as much as we enjoyed creating it, and as always -- huge thanks for your continued patience and support!
