ORX Demo leaving Steam on July 14th

With ORX Beta on our hands and Early Access coming on August 30th, it’s time to talk about ORX Demo.
For us the demo was never an afterthought, but a real slice of the main game. It meant not only adding all the main features to the demo, but also updating them multiple times to represent our current vision of the game. And for what it was ORX Demo did a pretty good job at introducing players to the main concepts of ORX.
However, as mentioned in the past, ORX Demo got outdated and now no longer fully represents the game we’re making. Unfortunately, with the team being fully focused on developing the game for the Early Access release, we simply don’t have enough resources to update the demo yet once more. Which means it time to finally say goodbye. At least for now.
[h3]On July 14th 12 pm PDT we will remove ORX Demo from Steam.[/h3]
It had an amazing run and helped introduce so many people to the game — some of you even played it for dozens of hours! But now it would’ve been simply not enough to show you everything we have in store.
Though we might re-enable the demo during Steam festivals or some other events, it’s probably your last chance to try out this version of ORX.
And if you want to have a taste of things to come in Early Access — you can always join our Discord and take part in events and activities for a chance to join ORX Beta! Or simply share your feedback and help the Team create the best version of ORX possible.
