We are releasing an update for the game.

Change log:
- Fixed random crash when generating a new hero
- Fixed random crash when reloading saves made in Riga1944 (and other saves containing Partisan unit on the map)
- Updated Editor EXE so it can open Case Orange and Shanderovka scenarios

Wehrmacht forces across the Eastern Front find themselves under immense pressure from a resurgent Red Army.

Caught between directives to maintain full control of the vast territories they have conquered and the desperate struggle to survive against increasingly strengthening Soviet armies, German forces are stretched to their limits.

But an inevitable Axis decline is not the only path that lies before you in this Panzer Corps 2 Campaign DLC.

We are delighted to announce that Panzer Corps 2: Operations Axis 1944 is the first DLC to offer two entire campaigns that are completely separate and independent from one another.

In the historical campaign, prepare to face the brutal realities of the decline of the German Wehrmacht as it struggles to survive the Allied onslaught battering it from all directions.

In the ahistorical campaign, continue your success that has secured the Caucasus region for Germany as you defend your extensive conquests from both familiar and also totally new challenges.

To give players the most freedom of choice, both campaigns are immediately available for all players to begin. There are no prerequisites or barriers to launching either campaign.

Newly formed Panzer Corps or deeply imported forces have equal choice in which campaign path to pursue and explore.

Like all previous DLCs, Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations - 1944 also adds 20 new scenarios and a new set of objectives, classified as Elite Objective.

today we are releasing an update for the game.

Changelog:

[h3]Added Axis Operations 1944 campaign[/h3]

Improved hero assignment interface:

• The list now has three columns
  
• Heroes are sorted by name
  
• There is a textbox to quickly search heroes by name or trait
  
• Hero assignment is now also available directly from main screen, via GUI button or H hotkey. Toggle map names has been reassigned to Ctrl+H hotkey.
  
• Added a GUI button (next to End Turn) to speed up AI turns (a GUI equivalent of Space hotkey). Holding Space now temporarily inverts the GUI option.
  
• Added a command to mass-rebase all aircraft from one base to another. Just hold Shift when clicking rebase target as usual.
  

Rule changes:

• When rebasing aircraft, rebase distance is now calculated from old base to new base, not from the current position of the aircraft
  
• Air units can no longer detect camouflaged units on the ground. Recon planes detect such units only if flying directly over them
  

Editor:

• Units now have an additional parameter "Starting Location" which can be set to "Map", "Undeployed List" or "Reserve". This allows creating scenarios with pre-populated undeployed and reserve lists.
  
• Implemented a fix for freezes when selecting and moving aircraft
  
• Fixed crash between missions related to "Old Guard" player trait
  
• Added more german names and surnames for random heroes
  
• Added more german camouflage patterns
  
• Various other small fixes and improvements
  

The first mission of the game features near constant blizzards and reduced visibility. Re-establish contact with the German forces lost in the storm and lead your men out of a rapidly deteriorating situation.
