Outider Mako Development Progress as of December 2020.
Dear fans,
Thank you for your continued support for Outrider Mako.
Originally, the title was planned for a 2020 release but as we explained here, as this is creator Asamado Games' first time making a game, it is taking longer than expected to adjust all the settings in Game Maker Studio.
Game system wise, the title is currently around 70-80% complete. From now on Asamado will continue developing the remaining 20-30% while also fixing issues that are raised through test playing.
As the focus has been on the game system development up until this point, work still needs to be done from a content perspective. Currently, "the world design and the expression has been evolved to a much higher level from the playable demo at TGS 2019, now I will begin adding more contents while maintaining this level of quality." according to the developer.

The following game system elements have been improved over the demo.

We at PLAYISM have all played the new and improved version and we can guarantee that the quality has come on leaps and bounds since the demo last year, so please look forward to it.

- Collectible handling and placement.
- Player movement.
- Player attacks.
- The effect of the time of day or weather on the game.
- Workbench actions (crafting etc.)
- Puzzle solving components.
- Dialogue system.
- Overall animations and production.
- Delivery centre contents.
- HUD and UI.
- Tutorial.

The issue came with brushing up the game system elements, which took way longer than I was expecting, and therefore has led to a delay in the development shcedule.
I will continue developing at top speed in order to get it to players as soon as possible.
