Version 0.17.3 Patch Notes

A new version of Soviet Jump Game is now available. This update includes the following:

+ Play again button disabled while in a party and not the host.
+ Improved music player stability.
+ Improved popup stability.
+ Adjustments made to matchmaking / server joining stability.
+ Resolved a typo on the overcharge menu misrepresenting price of item.
+ Set max queued frames to 0 to reduce input latency.
+ Fixed an issue allowing players to get out of bounds when exiting pipes from above while underwater.
+ Improved connection speed to new matches.
+ Resolved an issue that would result in some players receiving empty stats data at the end of matches.
+ Resolved an issue that resulted in players remaining in their original locations when entering a duel.
+ Took measures to prevent bubbled players from being pushed by other players.
+ Made a change to how audio sources are pooled to resolve a rare issue which would prevent sound effects from playing.

The motherland will now recognize and allow the creation of new political parties. Invite and play with friends, view their passports and daily civic duties.

Currently capped at 48, but this may change if it causes issues.

This feature uses the Steam overlay. Please make sure it is active if you intend to host a party but you don't need it if you are just joining.



Change Log:

+ Introduced the party system.
+ Extended time to fall for falling plats in sewer.
+ Boxing ring ropes now always give players a high bounce regardless of input.
+ Fixed a visual error caused by respawning stuck in a bubble.
+ Bots should now accept Duels.
+ Change feedback when hitting players with the baseball bat to better communicate connected hits when accounting for network delay.
+ Coins from boxes now shoot downward when hit from above.
+ Fix for Matryoshka damage particles sometimes not firing.
+ Shoot animations now play for proxies ( Electricity Ball , Hammer & Sickle ).
+ Swimming FX now consistently play for proxies (enter, exit, bubbles).
+ Improvements to proxy swimming audio to address multiple sounds playing over each other (spam).
+ Slow volumes ( shallow water, snow ) now play sounds and FX for proxies.

A new version of Soviet Jump Game is now available. This update includes the following:

  • Added visual warning to bunker zappers and lava plume hazards.
  • Fix to prevent electric pipe hazards from not showing.
  • Lava plume re-color in Map B.
  • Improvements to bot behaviour in the gym and hub.
  • Updates to bot AI to introduce more human fallacy as well as general pathing updates.
  • Updates to Gym placement behaviour to prioritize placing human players together in the same gyms, pushing bots out as new players join.
  • Additional out of bounds prevention measures.
  • Introduced visual variations to enemies.
  • Fixes for a few broken objective trackers.
  • Fixed a number of small issues in spectate logic.
  • Fixed mis-matched brick palettes.

DEATH BRIBES

Hey Comrades!
We've got an update to die for! If you can collect enough coins you'll now bribe death to return to the battlefield for revenge!

With this update we are hoping to keep the middle of matches as action packed as the beginning and end. We are starting with a 30 coin cost to secure a respawn but we will balance that value based on testing.

You can re-roll an uncompleted civic duty with red coins.
