Paycheck: City RPG News

Hi All,

Unfortunately, as you all may have guessed this project didn’t pan out as I had hoped. I’ve lost a considerable sum of money and simply no longer have the resources to fix what remains.

To those of you who were willing to try it and give it an honest chance, thank you! For those of you who tried to get the word out or support anyway you could I truly do appreciate it.


The game will be shutting down and I wish you all the best.

New Job: Construction Worker – Can build buildings. Gain wood by chopping the trees in the park.

Keys sell when you change job
Jobs stay on death
Inventory fixes
Map improvements

• Property ownership is fixed

• Objects drop at feet as opposed to in air

Instructions:
-There are servers set up but, we will post instructions below if you want to start your own.
-Sandbox will be activated to smooth out immediate issues. You’ll receive a lot of money frequently but, it won’t save (will watch over the weekend and implement normal system next week).
-Report bugs in the report bug text channel, be as specific as possible.

Only shoot people with skulls above their heads, otherwise you will be punished/possibly banned. You must press charges against people after arresting, this is in the inventory menu. Wrongful arrests will be punished.


If you want your own server:
When you download the game it has the server binaries in the Paycheck/Binaries/Win64 directory. You can just run that exe to start a server. You’ll need to download the game through Steam, logout, then from there just have the steam client running. Then, just login to the Steam on another computer, download the game and connect. This will be way easier in the future.
