Developed by doBell Studio, the team behind SELF, and published by indienova, the interactive text adventure game Hymer 2000 has launched its demo today!

Hymer 2000 is an interactive text-based puzzle game. You can converse freely with a computer named Hymer, without being confined to a fixed set of text options. The game features an open-ended search function that allows you to enter any keyword to locate conversational logs between Hymer and others. Throughout this process, you will uncover new keywords, gather clues, collect "faces," and ultimately unveil the secret Hymer has been guarding before shutting it down once and for all.

The demo includes roughly the first 20–30 minutes of gameplay, with some limitations placed on the "search" feature. The full version is scheduled to release by the end of the year—stay tuned!

It's been a while since our last update, we've got a very special update for you this week! In addition to some polishes and bug fixes, we've also added a mode for improving the color accessibility. I hope this can help more players can enjoy SELF easily as we do have many simple colored graphics in our game.

We are preparing a patch for the Nintendo Switch version too, please be patient as it will take a bit longer as there are more restricted QA process for the console version.

SELF is a suspenseful Kafkaesque text-based adventure game made by a two-men game studio doBell. We want to thank all the fans and friends in the community for your incredible support. This project started in 2016, so I hope we didn't make you wait too long :D

You need to help the protagonist to look for his disappear dad. During the journey, you need to make some choices, and each routine will lead you to different endings.

It may take you 2-3 hours to complete the whole game. You will find out what really happened only if you collect all endings.
