Larian and Microsoft working to address 'annoying and uncool' Xbox account bans caused by the unfortunate combination of Baldur's Gate 3's notorious horniness and automatic gameplay uploads

Baldur's Gate 3 is a notoriously oversexed videogame, and that's causing headaches for some Xbox Series X-S owners who have found their accounts suspended after their consoles automatically uploaded gameplay clips of, as one redditor put it, "naked camp fun time."..

Keen to avoid softlocks in Baldur's Gate 3's honour mode? Don't accidentally leave your hammer in camp

It seems that there are some rather bizarre ways you can inadvertently get stuck during an uber-tough honour mode playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3, with one player having reported stumbling across one that’s caused by forgetting to pick up your hammer at the right time.

BG3’s honour mode is deliberately designed to offer a tougher challenge than even the fearsome tactician difficulty setting, with the likes of permadeath and the inability to reload previous saves adding to the genuinely terrifying vibes. Good news cultured Tavs, Baldur's Gate 3's nudity recording bans on Xbox are being investigated

Larian Studios has revealed that it’s working with Microsoft to investigate why some Baldur's Gate 3 players on Xbox have seemingly been handed bans for the crime of recording their gameplay during some of the game’s more intimate moments.

If you’re out of the loop, despite the act of getting down and dirty - along with all of the romantic chats that can lead to it - having arguably played a part in why so many people have fallen in love with Larian’s RPG, it seems acts of voyeurism committed on Xbox have been causing issues. According to one Reddit user who experienced the problem, its cause looks to be a result of the nature of how Microsoft’s consoles handle gameplay recordings.

Now, Larian’s Director of Publishing, Michael Douse, has taken to Twitter with a tactfully-worded message for those who’ve been banished to horny jail. “We’ve seen the reports that some players got banned or otherwise faced issues on Xbox having uploaded screenshots/videos of their ‘gameplay content’,” he tweeted.

Baldur's Gate 3 mod trades tired old lines for hidden companion quotes

Is anyone else really tired of Tav and your Baldur's Gate 3 companions saying the same few things on a loop? I'm personally sick of hearing Tav taking back wishing they lived in more interesting times or saying that everything didn't end as bad as it could have, so lucky for me an impressively popular BG3 mod has a great fix.
