Baldur's Gate 3 gets biggest Steam discount yet in new sale

It feels extremely strange that Baldur's Gate 3 only came out a few months ago. It's been a hell of a not-quite-year for the RPG, winning more awards than I can shake a stick of +3 shaking at, selling tons, and becoming renowned as one of the greatest RPGs of all time. With all that going on it hasn't been discounted too often, but it's just hit a new historical low on Steam in a brand new sale.

Helldivers 2, Baldur's Gate 3, and Balatro lead Develop Star Awards

You sometimes forget just how many great games have been released during the last 12 months. Helldivers 2 has become one of the best multiplayer experiences in recent years, Baldur's Gate 3 will go down in history as the RPG that transformed the genre, and Balatro, the indie and roguelike game from LocalThunk, is the surprise megahit that just keeps giving. Alan Wake 2, Dave the Diver, Dead Island 2 - all of these and more will be honored at the upcoming Develop:Star Awards, as part of Develop:Brighton, in July. Baldur's Gate 3 composer "inspired and happy" about Larian's new game

It's May 4, but the banks of the Thames are suspiciously devoid of Star Wars cosplayers. In their stead are a gaggle of Shadowhearts, a plethora of Astarions, a horde of Karlachs, and an aura of anticipatory excitement among the Baldur's Gate 3 fans that can be felt throughout London's Royal Festival Hall.
