PS Plus Premium now lets you try out one of the best and one of the worst PS5 games

One of the more niche selling points of the more expensive, mid-tier of PlayStation Plus: Premium, is the ability to browse game trials. These work pretty much as you'd expect, letting you try out a game for a certain number of hours for free.

The latest round of trials is available now for PS Premium members, and the selected games are... interesting to say the least.

As spotted by PlayStation Game Size on Twitter, two trials have now arrived on Premium. The first is for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which (mercifully) gives you access to the game for one hour.

I have sunk so much of my life in Baldur's Gate 3, and it just keeps surprising me. YouTuber DragonsDream demonstrated an absolutely delightful little unmarked quest to find a stray cat a new home in Act 3, and I know exactly why I've never seen it before: you have to effectively fail another quest all the way back at the beginning of the game to make it happen...

Baldur's Gate 3 hotfix addresses Gale’s romance scene, several bugs, visual issues, more

A new hotfix is available for Baldur's Gate 3, addressing several bugs, visual issues and blockers.

One of the issues fixed is Gale's romance scene. Apparently, it was playing in what looked like "some kind of black void," but with Hotfix 11, the "ambience is restored." That's good news.

Speaking of romance, kissing animations for Astarion are still messed up, but the development team is currently working on a fix.

Baldur's Gate 3 stops leveling you well before the official Dungeons and Dragons level cap. The Larian RPG has its reasons for cutting you off before this limit, but what if you could go far beyond this for no other reason than you want to? Will it be balanced, fair, or even make sense? No, probably not, but the opportunity is here with this brand-new BG3 mod.
