It wasn't supposed to go like this yet, somehow, here we are. Artorius, my Tempest Domain cleric fresh out of performing heroic deeds that involved, among other things, saving a dump truck-load of people, vanquishing a bunch of sociopathic villains, and generally drawing on his deity-bestowed godly power to be the saviour of the hour, is not finding companionship and a moment of solace from the challenges ahead with his fellow cleric and—in my role-playing plan for Artorius—obvious romantic interest, Shadowheart. He is in fact now necking with Lae'zel, who Baldur's Gate 3 has dubbed his "hot githyanki girlfriend"...

Baldur’s Gate 3 players will be able to change appearance in-game, when Larian Studios is done cooking

Needless to say, Baldur's Gate 3 has gone down a treat with its players, with this Dungeons & Dragons inspired game claiming the top spot on Metacritic this year.

Alas, there’s still improvements to be added to the game, and Larian Studios is pinning these down and delivering them where possible. One such feature that players have been requesting is the ability to change your appearance in-game, after character creation has long-ended.

With the ability to change your class via Withers, it would make sense if there was an opportunity to adjust player characters appearances, too. As of right now, there’s no way to actually customise your appearance in-game other than by changing your clothing.

Baldur's Gate 3 will let you change your character's appearance

Baldur's Gate 3 is not only my favorite RPG game of all time, but it's hands-down the greatest gameplay experience that I've ever had. Larian Studios recently released the Dungeons & Dragons-inspired game out of early access, and it has since been flying through every chart imaginable. Among the vast variety of features found in Baldur's Gate 3, character appearance changes are nowhere to be found. Larian Studios has just confirmed that they are indeed working on implementing such a system, though.
