Freshly-released Baldur's Gate 3 custom campaign is all about finding "the dark secret of the Grand Theater", and your musical soul might be nicked in the process

Do you long to take your Baldur's Gate 3 gang somewhere a bit more cultured than the Lower City Sewers? Well, a new custom campaign mod looks like it'll let you do just that, as well as offering a chance to delve into a musical mystery woven by the Red Wizards of Thay.

Larian has published a blog post detailing an update to the Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 8, which isn't actually out yet and is still in stress testing. The update includes a few tweaks to the balance of new sub classes in addition to the expected bug fixes, but notably absent among them were any significant changes to Booming Blade, a new cantrip that's set to seriously shake up the game's balance and crown a new subclass king⁠...

Now that official Baldur's Gate 3 mod support has arrived, I'm excited to download all of the custom campaigns. The scope for fully realized, expansive, and detailed player creations is endless, and these original narratives give us entirely new worlds and characters to play with. One of my most anticipated mods is finally here, and it blends BG3 with the best starting zone in all of World of Warcraft.
