Baldur's Gate 3's rigged dice rolls won't give NPCs 400% extra damage

Baldur's Gate 3 developer Larian has revealed that the Karmic Dice feature, which taps into the D&D tabletop design inspirations in the fantasy RPG game, will be fixed for the Baldur's Gate 3 release date after a Reddit post outlining its unfairness made the rounds. With Baldur's Gate 3 right around the corner, this is sure to put a lot of us at ease.

Lady D's voice actor returns as another hot villain in Baldur’s Gate 3

With the imminent release of Baldur's Gate 3 next week, Larian have released another villain spotlight video showcasing the RPG juggernaut's final character in its trio of antagonists, and Lady Dimitrescu actor Maggie Robertson will be playing her. Hell yeah. Orin the Red is an angry, evil, shapeshifting lady who seems to have a major chip on her shoulder and a lust for destruction and blood. The video doesn't go too much into Orin's role in BG3 beyond the fact that she's super evil, but if you'd like to see snippets of Robertson as Orin in action you can watch the video below:

Divinity Original Sin 3 is "definitely" coming after Baldur's Gate 3

With Baldur's Gate 3 agonizingly within touching distance now, the founder of developer Larian Studios says the team will definitely look to return to its defining universe in the future. The success of Divinity Original Sin saw Larian selected to build the much-anticipated Baldur's Gate 3 after the popular reception to its outstanding RPG games, and Swen Vincke says he'd love to return to Larian's self-created universe - but not for a while yet.
