Prison Simulator VR has reached a stage of development where we feel it's time for us to collect feedback from the community. That’s why today we are opening registration for Prison Simulator VR playtests. Can’t wait for your ideas! We know that player support is what truly shapes a game.

The new gameplay video that we have prepared for you shows just a small fragment of the mechanics that await you in the game. Prison Simulator VR features an entire prison simulation system with separate relationships with each prisoner and guard. Your decisions made during various routines will affect your reputation, and the freedom of action will allow you to solve individual tasks in a variety of ways.

During Playtests, you will be able to play Prison Simulator VR Freeplay mode. You will decide what you want to do and what routines to finish. ​​In the full version, there will be a story campaign waiting for you, in which you will start as an inexperienced guard who is just making a name for himself among guards and prisoners. Whose side will you take?

We are now mostly focused on polishing and bug fixing, but hey, we're all ears for your thoughts! Any ideas for what should be added before we launch? It might take us a bit to gather and roll out your suggestions, but trust us, your input will make this game even better. We're all about involving players and making sure this game hits the mark.

If you are as excited as we are about the game and want to try Prison Simulator VR and help us, we have just opened registration for playtests. Registration will close on May 19.

3. Accepted participants will gain access to our Playtests Discord server
   
4. Redeem your Steam key provided by us.

Playtests will last until further notice. The game will be updated over time. Playtesters who provide the most valuable feedback will receive Prison Simulator VR for free on the day of release.

In Prison Simulator VR, the facility will need regular cleaning, whether it's removing offensive graffiti, tidying up dirty floors, or dealing with unexpected spills.



As a dedicated prison guard, your hard work will grant you access to exclusive areas. Among these, you'll find fully interactive machines where you can order a snack to boost your in-game statistics.



Prison Simulator VR is rapidly approaching its beta phase, and the game is taking shape, getting closer to its official release. Just like with our previous titles, Thief Simulator VR and Cooking Simulator VR, we believe in the importance of player feedback. Therefore, we're planning to offer players the chance to test our game and share their insights before Prison Simulator VR's official launch. Stay tuned for an upcoming devlog, where we'll provide comprehensive details about the beta tests— when they'll occur, how long they'll last, and who will have access to them. Once we're fully prepared, we'll unveil the official release dates for the game on multiple platforms, including PCVR, PS VR2, Quest 2, Pico Neo 3, and Pico 4.

In the immersive world of Prison Simulator VR, you will find yourself tasked with the important responsibility of package inspection. As prisoners' families and friends often send them gifts, it becomes our duty to thoroughly examine the contents of these packages.

But be warned, even during this seemingly routine activity, our unwavering vigilance must never falter. Why? Because hidden amidst the innocent items lies the potential for contraband! Imagine opening a seemingly harmless candy box, only to discover a concealed file.



However, the course of action we choose to take regarding the contents of these packages rests solely on our shoulders. Will we choose to leave the illicit items untouched, thereby building a strong reputation with the prisoners? Or perhaps we may be tempted to seize the contraband for personal gain and sell it for a profit? The choice is ours to make and it holds the power to shape our journey within the prison walls.

Welcome to the next devlog for Prison Simulator VR! Today, we're excited to share updates regarding the workshop. One of the key aspects of Prison Simulator VR is managing the time and activities of the prisoners, and one of the options for this is to take them to a workshop where they can learn and practice woodworking skills.

To initiate this process, you need to go to the cellblock and identify the prisoners who are willing and able to participate in the workshop. Once you have selected the volunteers, you lead them to the workshop area and start the session. But be warned, keeping order and discipline among the prisoners can be a challenge. Not every prisoner has enough patience to finish his project, and maintaining a safe and productive environment requires careful attention.
