Fix progress sync



Hi Travelers,

In addition to the issues in V.1.0.16 fix update, we’re also working on the issues most reported in the community, such as [UI of the tournament stuck issue] [the team members left bug] [optimization of skill effect/description]. We'll try to get these bugs and other minor bugs done around monday with a new patch.

V.1.0.16 Fixed Saving & Skill Issues and others

Hi, travelers

After the DLC was released, there are indeed many unexpected bugs buried in the version. Particularly when the game needs to achieve non-barrier base game and DLC environment switch performance. At present, we have fixed the most-cared issue in new version 1.0.16, such as [Saving problem] [ Encounter battle stuck situation when the team with RIQ] [ New skills performance issue] [ New DLC2 heroes respawn issue]

And be sure we will continue to optimize the version. If you encounter any bug, you can leave the comments below, we will look into it and fix the issue as soon as possible.

Fixed [Saving issue] after DLC Update
Fixed the problem that DLC2 heroes could not appear normally in the game. Now when DLC2 is loaded, you can find them in the taverns of desert
Fix the problem that the passive effect of [Turning Jade] skill - [Rhythm of Life] causes friendly characters to be unable to act
Fixed a bug where the passive effect of the skill [Healing Rhythm] would cause unexpected battle stuck issue
Fixed a bug that the skill page of the character [Shahid] is displayed unfunctionally
Fixed a bug that the clones generated by the skill [Shade Soul Splitter] will not disappear functionally
Fixed a bug that the skill [Song of Battle] has no effect after use
Fixed a bug that the value of the skill [Afterglow] is always displayed as 0
Fixed a bug that the value of the skill [Purifying Flame] is always displayed as 0
Fixed a bug that the passive attribute of the skill [Rampage] does not take effect
Fixed a bug that the value description of the skill [Iron Heart] is wrong
Fixed a bug that there is no CD prompt after the skill [Battle Preparations] is released

[BUG Collection] Regarding saving issue that some players encountered

Hi Travelers

After the DLC update, we found that many players reported saving issue, we're currently looking into it and if you have any clue please leave the comments below, it would be a big help for us to solve the issue.

For players who encounter similar problems can try to load the free DLC1 - Champion of Chaos, We've got some players' feedback that it can be temporarily resolved in this way.

Dear adventurers:

The two DLCs [Champion of Chaos] and [The Tournament] are officially meeting with you today! The featured update has been live with v.1.0.15 along with a 60% off discount!

In the meanwhile, we are also thrilled to announce the mobile version will be also released on mobile platforms with DLC too, you can enjoy Sands of Salzaar with a pocket version now!


[h3]Free DLC - [Champion of Chaos][/h3]

Champions of Chaos is a Free content expansion pack that was added to the base game and inspired by some of the most popular suggestions and feedback we’ve collected from the community. Again, we’d like to thank you all for giving us so much support!

This pack includes:




NPC is always the key to Sands of Salzaar, so we hope that their skills will be developed around the character setting and their own background. This can better enhance the image of the characters, and also allow adventurers to have a more clear target when making recruitment decisions. Therefore, we first re-designed a new skill talent tree with 17 characters, and expanded the number of skills on the basis of the original skill tree.

Here are the 17 heroes:

Amira Zahra, Princess Bellen, Astrid、Riq、Yousef, Goldie Kabir, Lotus Kabir, Tiqin, Assel, Shahid, Yaya、Galo Zahra, Najima, Batu, Rwal, Threnody, Tasha.


Compared with the original design, we hope the designed skills have some control effects and combination effects of skill linkage. Besides, the linking effect between these characters can have better combat performance in another DLC [The Tournament], in the 3v3 battle mode, allowing adventurers to have more choices when group-up a team.

The Tournament is a new mode with character cultivation, skill builds and combat operations elements. Adventurers can try different combinations of heroes according to their own preferences, and dig out the most suitable combat style for yourselves,

This pack includes:


Sands of Salzaar has hundreds of NPCs with different personalities and characteristics. We hope that when adventurers take them under command, it is not just to collect people or reduce the enemy's forces, but to hope that these NPCs can become good helpers for adventurers so that everyone's journey in the desert will no longer be lonely. Skills linkage must be a way for the mentioned above, NPCs in 3v3 battles will reveal more chemicals after your cultivation.

However, with this amount of skill rework and NPC designs, we can imagine that there must be some places that have bugs or unbalanced stat in the NPC Designs and the 3v3 arena mode. we will continue to improve this part of the content in the future, and we hope that you can feel free to communicate with us, Thank you for your support!

The DLCs has been released today, here are some question you may care:


Q:How to unlock/purchase DLC?
After updating to the latest version 1.0.15, enter the [main menu] and click the entry of [DLC] to unlock/purchase or you can go DLC1 & DLC2 store page

Q:How to confirm that the DLC has been loaded functionally in the game?

In DLC1 - We reworked 17 you most-cared heros with new skill trees: Amira Zahra, Princess Bellen, Astrid、Riq、Yousef, Goldie Kabir, Lotus Kabir, Tiqin, Assel, Shahid, Yaya、Galo Zahra, Najima, Batu, Rwal, Threnody, Tasha. You can check the skill pages related to the characters in the team



In DLC2 - if the Tournament is loaded, A NPC Notice on the right side for the Tournament will be triggered when you open a new archive or load the archive for the first time.



Q: If the previous archives can play with DLC?
A: Yes, we have done the compatibility for the archive, DLC can be opened or closed at any time.

Here is something you might be aware of :
- Since the Base game and DLC are using two sets of different skill configurations, when the player chooses to cross-overwrite the archive, the skill points of the relevant characters will be reset. (And a pop-up window will remind you like below!)



- For players who get confused with the archive environment, you can identify it through the archive mark here




Q: The previous test version of DLC has many bugs, how is the repair status? [

A: Compared with the test version, we have fixed most of the functional bugs. We hope to bring DLCs in Jan so that everyone can play new content during the vacation season. So the team has worked relentlessly to implement the new content and changes. In DLC1 We’ve redesigned around 300+ skills, with this amount of skill rework and NPC designs, there still must be some unknown minor issues and bugs in this part. But please don’t worry, we will continue to update and fix. If you encounter any problems, please feel free to give feedback to our community customer service students. It is a great help to us!

Q: I upgraded the game version this time, can my MOD still be used?

A: After our testing, most of the online MOD can be used normally.
[Tool MOD] - You can still use tool MOD when DLC is turned on;
[Story MOD] - Since the Story mod is built by the MODer with a separate framework, the DLCs are developed on the basis of the base game. So you need to turn off the DLC environment before playing them.
*There may be a few Mods that cannot be used normally because the mod was built by the too-early version environment. Please don’t worry, we will try to contact the author to communicate and provide you with a new version as soon as possible.
