Rescue of «Chelyuskin»
We invite you to take part in the New Year's event.
From today until January 7th (inclusive), the New Year's location "Rescue of Chelyuskin" is available. The location shows the most characteristic inhabitants of the Arctic Chukchi Sea. The following activities are available to you:
- At all locations, Christmas socks sometimes fall out when fishing. You can open such a sock and get a small prize, or combine three socks in an event machine and get a gift
- A daily task for Christmas tree toys is available at the Chelyuskin Rescue location. After receiving such a toy, you can hang it on the Christmas tree, get a gift and a buff to increase the experience and cost of selling fish. After the Christmas tree is fully dressed up, you will be able to receive a gift once a day
- At the Chelyuskin Rescue location, you can catch Arctic fish (with the tag "Arctic"), make Arctic fillets from it, and special cargoes from it that can be handed over to a polar explorer and receive the event currency "reputation", for which you can purchase various unique goods in the game store
The promotion will last until January 7th, inclusive of server time.

July 16, 1933 – the steamer Chelyuskin sailed from Leningrad to Murmansk under the command of the first captain Peteris Biezais and the head of the expedition O. Y. Schmidt.
On August 1, 1933, the steamer arrived in Murmansk. On August 2, 1933, the steamer sailed from Murmansk to Vladivostok.
On September 1, the steamer passed Cape Chelyuskin.
On September 23, the steamer was completely blocked in the ice of the Chukchi Sea. Chelyuskin has been drifting with the crew for almost 5 months.
On February 13, 1933, as a result of strong compression, Chelyuskin was crushed by ice and sank.
104 people from the ship's crew remained on the ice.
From March 5 to April 13, 1933, the pilots made 24 rescue flights and took out the entire crew of the Chelyuskin steamer.
During the forced wintering in the ice, not a single person died, moreover, one child was born in the ice.
