Fall Guys reveals one of Season 2's new medieval levels

Today we get our first real look at what Fall Guys Season 2 is going to look like, and we've unfortunately learned the name of Big Yeetus' new friend as well. The upcoming stage 'Knight Fever' was revealed today, and it's another one of Fall Guys' trademark obstacle course races, although this time it's with some added medieval flair.

Knight Fever, which was revealed today by IGN, begins with a run up one of several parallel concave chutes, which each have swinging axes spaced along their length. When you reach the top, you'll head toward a set of three horizontal logs that have pink spikes rotating around them to knock you off into the pink abyss below.

Next, you'll move your bean down a gooey slide, which opens onto two more curved purple chutes that challenge you to avoid another set of whirling axes. Then there's another, final purple chute that's swept by two big spiky logs. These were teased two weeks ago, when the Fall Guys Twitter account asked players to help come up with a name for 'Big Yeetus' new friend."

Looking for some games like Fall Guys? Fall Guys is surely the brightest, bounciest battle royale game we've ever failed repeatedly at - although we have failed at a lot of battle royale games. After many gleeful hours toddling around, giving friendly hugs to your fellow beans, and being punted into the air at breakneck speed by Big Yeetus, you may be wondering what other fun, yet competitive party games you can pick up and play with friends or family. Well, wonder no more, my wobbly friend.

While you won't find Fall Guys' colourful blend of chaotic, multiplayer lobbies and gameshow-esque obstacle courses anywhere else, there are certainly many more games with a similar playful appeal and casual approach to limb physics.

Though you certainly could practice enough to defeat everyone you play against, these games are all about starting you off on an even playing field, and leaning heavily on general bedlam, so that anyone and everyone can be in with a chance of winning - but just like Fall Guys, these party games are tons of fun, even if you lose horribly.

There are new Fall Guys skins and other items added to the item shop every few days—new Fall Guys costumes, colors, patterns, faces, emotes, and celebrations to buy for your bean and wear while you compete. Featured items in the Fall Guys Item Shop are regularly cycled out and new items become available. You can buy Fall Guys items with Kudos and Crowns—Kudos are earned every time you play Fall Guys, and you can also spend real money to buy more. Crowns are earned by winning matches, and you also gain a few Crowns just by reaching milestones in the Fall Guys Season 1 progress meter. You can't spend money to buy Crowns. They have to be earned! Regular items in the shop are randomized, so different players will see different items in their shops. But Featured Items are the same for everyone.
