Fall Guys needs your help to name Big Yeetus' horrible new friend
Fall Guys has already introduced a new 'character' into the game, and it's known as Big Yeetus. It's a hammer that yeets beans who get close to it at the wrong time, obviously. Fall Guys Season 2 is going to introduce a new friend for Big Yeetus, and Mediatonic wants your help to name the wretched thing.
It's hard to follow up a name as strong as Big Yeetus, and so the developers are looking for input from the community. "We used up the best possible name when we came up with Big Yeetus", the Fall Guys official Twitter account explains. "Now we need your help to name Big Yeetus' new friend from Season 2. WHAT ARE THEY CALLED?"
Based on the screenshots Fall Guys has shared, this 'new friend' is a huge spiked log that swings back and forth across a curved running surface, smashing bean people off the level or mushing them into one of the many holes cut into the surface. This does not sound like very friendly behaviour to us, but be that as it may, the thing still needs a name.

Picture this vaguely disconcerting scene: you're minding your own business, queuing up for a new round of Fall Guys. When the show opens, instead of the multicolored, wacky costumed beans you were expecting, there are countless red and green bean people writhing around on the ground, all wearing developer Mediatonic's logo.
It could happen to you. It certainly happened to a streamer who goes by PrinxessTi, who posted a pair of screenshots to Twitter. Her shots depict dozens of identical beans, all lying on the ground in their green and red Mediatonic uniforms. "I'm very sorry but I think I might have broken your game," she said.
Mediatonic responded on Twitter, saying it had a team investigating the issue. Then, as it is wont to do when weird things happen in its already weird multiplayer game, the official Fall Guys Twitter account swooped in. It had a confession to make, it said. There is a remote chance that when you begin a round in Fall Guys, you'll instead spawn in alongside "hundreds" of Mediatonic jelly bean guys at the start of the level.

Today’s mid-season update adds a whole new layer of colourful chaos, full of fiendish takes on familiar rounds and some surprising twists to keep those jelly beans on their toes.
With this latest patch, you will quickly start to see that all is not what it seems in The Blunderdome. Familiar favourites will have to be tackled in all new ways, with the addition of dozens of obstacles, dizzyingly random rotations and of course, plenty of tumbling fruit. And what’s more, players will have no idea when these changes will occur — no bean’s dignity shall be spared!
Dropping in at random, players will need to think on their feet to avoid an early trip to the slime! We really want to let these be a surprise for the community but as a sneak peek, you can expect to witness some wildly devious mixes of Season 1 classics.
But that’s not all - we've also implemented Easy Anti-Cheat in order to combat players using tools that hook into the game to apply hacks to our unsuspecting Fall Guys. Easy Anti-Cheat is used by the best in the business and will mean our jelly beans receive the very best protection from the bad eggs seeking to exploit them.
