Ling is a "traveler" from the Misty Mountains whose mission is to travel the world and return with what she has seen and heard to the Elders' woodlands. Travelers can only watch, must not interfere with the development of this mortal world, otherwise the ancient protection will be ineffective. She will become a small member of the numerous living beings, not a traveler of the mortal world anymore.

After completing a century-old tour around the world, Ling returned to the Misty Mountains and recounted her century-old experiences to the Elders' woodlands. Curiously, the elders have not taken back her traveler status, or even designated her route, allowing her to travel freely wherever she wishes.

Whether it was because she had seen through the changes in human nature, or because she had been touched by the vicissitudes of the century long tour, Ling finally chose to go to St. Nigal and join Pioneer Blade to become a healer.

It is said that on the day Ling arrived, the number of male patients in the hospital room exploded. Of course, these were little tricks with the travelers who saw through the world, and she could see whether they came to her for healing, for talking, or for love.



But no matter what, Ling will never turn away a patient, and the hospital room in St. Nigal is a place that is always clean and pure.
