Patch 1.7

Hi Everyone,

This update aims to improve on the current models/characters in the game. Hopefully y'all would notice the additional details that I've added to the models (improvements in the hair, details in the ears, changes to character proportions, etc).

Game Version is now 1.7

Below are a couple examples of the changes...

In addition to the model changes, I've also made some adjustments to the following:
- Improved accuracy for Free Locomotion for Oculus users (please let me know if this helps)
- Resizing of the colliders for Gadgets (so it's a tad bit harder to accidentally grab a gadget when reloading)
- Adjusted Volumetric lighting in several levels
- Refactoring AI scripts to reduce lag

Things to work on:
- Customizable Bullet Speeds (allowing MP Host to determine the speed of all bullets)
- Experimenting with different Visual Filters (imagine playing Fast and Low with a black and white color filter)

Things had been pretty hectic on my end this summer season, which unfortunately lead to a slight delay in the development process. As always....Thank you all for your support and your patience! Hope you enjoy the new build.

Patch 1.65

Good Afternoon,

Just wanted to post a quick update based on some recent feedback.

- Weapon orientation is now less sluggish when bracing rifles/shotguns with the "Off-hand Oriented" style of bracing weapons

- Ammo pouch collider is increased slightly so its easier for players to grab new mags/ammo

- Snap/Smooth rotation was bugged when players were in Ghost mode. This has now been addressed

- Added a missing collider to Map 5 Gate.

Patch 1.64

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to post a small Hotfix patch to address a couple of issues. Game Version is now 1.64

- Fixed an issue where the special hostage in Mission 7 wasn't reacting to Arrest Calls.
- Increased the enemy gunfire AUDIO range to match the enemy's firing range
- Made pumping shotguns in VR more responsive
- Improved Buddy AI so they are more aware of nearby enemies when chasing their initial target.

Thanks everyone for bringing some of these problems to my attention and supporting Fast and Low.

Patch 1.63 Content Patch - Buddy AI Update, Bracing VR Pistols

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to post an update to address some recent feedback on the buddy AI and on the pistols for VR users.

Buddy AI Update
It's not perfect. But now, your AI buddy will actually shoot and kill hostiles. If you place him on Follow, he will react to when enemies are shooting at you and will shoot back. I find it best to use him as a sentry turret as he can still get easily overwhelmed (and killed) if he charges into a room with 2-3 hostiles.

VR Pistols Update
The base Fast and Low Pistols (9mm, M1911, Magnum, Deagle) can now be braced with an offhand to improve its recoil.

Patch 1.62 - Volumetric Lighting, Script Performance Optimization

Hi Everyone,

With this update, I aim to add more luster to Fast and Low, by adding an option to enable Volumetric Lighting in the games base maps.

Volumetric Lighting


I found a relatively efficient way to add Volumetric Lighting to the base Fast and Low levels, and it makes the lighting in the game really stand out (especially in the darker missions).





It also makes some locales look dingier and dustier than before! ːsteamhappyː



By default, Volumetric Lights are turned off. However, they can be enabled in the Misc Settings Board for the VR player....and also in the Options tab for the Desktop User.



As this option is relatively taxing for GPUs....asymmetric local multiplayer would automatically disable the Volumetric Lights.

Misc Fixes

- Refactored several scripts for Optimization (this should reduce the amount of fps spikes in the game)
