At long last! A new, improved version of The Crimson Diamond demo! The game has been upgraded to Adventure Game Studio 3.5.1, which should improve the display options for players! Full screen and Windowed modes can now be toggled in-game.

The tutorial room now has a NEW MUSIC TRACK by Dan Policar!

Upgraded introductory sequence graphics!

A visual cue for points and a new visual cue for notes added to the player's notebook have been added!

More notes have been added to the notebook.

Hallway doors can now be knocked upon!

More text parser shortcuts for doors have been added (o e d) will open the east door, and (o r d) will open the right-hand door -- Those are the same doors!

Julia loves adventure games that use text parsers. She wants to share this love with the world. Her mystery adventure game The Crimson Diamond encourages players to try this fun and flexible method of interaction. In this livestream, Julia will be showing the tutorial room she created to show players new to text parsers how they operate, play some of the game demo (FREE on Steam) and answer questions about the game's developmente!

Coinciding with the start of The Big Adventure Event 2022, I'm pleased to launch a new and improved version of The Crimson Diamond Demo!

The demo is the first chapter of a game that will release in its entirety as seven chapters.

This new version fixes many bugs, addresses player feedback, provides more, toggle-able options for player UI, and has a bit of upgraded art in the introductory sequence!

IMPORTANT: Save games from previous versions of the demo will no longer be functional. No new story elements have been added. This version is a new & improved Chapter 1!

This demo will remain available, even after The Big Adventure Event 2022 concludes!

Special Livestream for THE BIG ADVENTURE EVENT 2022 (January 20-24)! Julia will be playing The Crimson Diamond demo, showing new features in the latest version, and answering questions about the game!

The Crimson Diamond is a mystery adventure game about a rookie mineralogist and reluctant sleuth, Nancy Maple! As Nancy, you journey to the northern Ontario ghost town of Crimson to investigate a diamond claim made in the area. You stay at the Crimson Lodge, and encounter an intriguing cast of characters. Are there diamonds in Crimson? What will you discover?
