Patch 4.1.1.9 - New Ranked Playlist

This update introduces a new Ranked Playlist co-developed with the OOT community. Plus, handy config presets for quick settings adjustments, dynamic scenario events, bots color change on hit, and more...

This patch should also reduce stuttering significantly on most systems, especially in Clicking scenarios.

[h3]OOT Ranked Playlist:[/h3]

  • This playlist contains 2 categories: Beginner and Advanced.
  • Includes a total of 32 Scenarios.
  • Check out the OOT Discord Server and Twitter.


[h3]Config Presets:[/h3]

This handy addition lets you save complete configs to a list and load them up in full or just parts of it with one click.

Config Presets will also store custom files such as Custom Sounds, Custom Crosshairs, and Custom Walls and Grounds Textures.

Plus, you will also be able to import / export presets quickly and revert unwanted changes made.

Access the Config Preset Manager via the Menu Settings tab (shortcut: "P" or click "Presets" in the bottom right corner) or from the Pause Menu Settings tab (click the cog wheel button).



[h3]Scenario Events:[/h3]

Scenario events allow creators to add unique events to their scenarios, happening on:

  • Session Time
  • Bot Count
  • Kill Count
  • Timer
  • On Start
  • On Kill


And execute one or multiple events at once such as:

  • Switch Weapon
  • Destroy Bots
  • Cycle Bots (Forward, Back, Random, or Index)
  • Update Bot Amount


[h3]Change Bot Color On Hit:[/h3]

This new feature lets you choose a different bot color when hitting it, based on the head or the body.

  • Bot Body Color On Hit
  • Bot Head Color On Hit
  • Humanoid Bot Armor Color On Hit
  • Color Fade Delay After Hit -> This is the amount of time it takes to start fading back to the default color.
  • Color Fade Duration -> This is the duration of the fade between the hit color and the default color.


[h3]New Bots Settings:[/h3]

  • Finish Dodge Before Swap -> Only used when Swap Movement Profiles is enabled.
  • Choose Opposite Dodge Direction On Swap (L/R) -> Only used when Swap Movement Profiles is enabled.
  • Choose Opposite Dodge Direction On Swap (F/B) -> Only used when Swap Movement Profiles is enabled.
  • Use Flat Base For Floor Checks


[h3]Other Changes:[/h3]

  • Revamped ranked score requirements tab to make it easier to read.
  • Fixed a bug that caused invalid scores to get submitted to the #score-logs channel in the Aimbeast Discord.
  • Fixed overall session time being affected by timescale.
  • Added import button for sounds.
  • Fixed multiple bugs that affected some functions of the Dynamic Blocks.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the New Playlist Tab to keep loading ranks forever.
  • Fixed a bug that caused rank and leaderboards entries count to not reset when launching a scenario without any leaderboard entry.

Patch 4.1.1.8

Discover the latest patch, offering several new bot settings, a completely revamped fly system, more scenario settings, and performance optimizations.

Performance Optimizations:

  • Enhanced FPS stability and reduced stutters.
  • Improved fast restart speed slightly.
  • Significant 50%-60% reduction in GPU Memory usage.
  • 20% faster game launch time.
Revamped Bot's Fly System:

This update brings a completely new and improved version of the bot's fly system, featuring many new settings and customizability.

The V2 Fly System is similar to the standard Legacy Movement Profiles (LMP).

It now works based on acceleration instead of interpolation, which provides smoother movement and much better behavior when colliding with the floor and roof.

All of this while providing a ton of more customization options compared to V1.



Note: You can still choose to use the old Fly system by just switching to V1 from the dropdown.

New Bot Settings / Changes:

  • Added new Size Shifting Type: "Health Based", this will scale the size of the bot based on health with options like: "Size Multiplier at 0 Health" and "Transition Interpolation Speed".
  • Fixed blink wall detection not working vertically.
  • Blinks can now be set to have 0 as duration, this will make the bot teleport to the end location.
  • Added new Event Triggered: "Update Health", this will update the Bot's health.
New Scenario Settings:
  • "Spawn Bots Threshold": When this setting is checked, bots will only spawn if the number of active bots Is equal to or lower than the value entered.
  • New Spawn Overlap Protection Duration Type: "Bot Lifetime", this essentially keeps spawns disabled for the time the bot stays alive.
Other Changes:

  • Fixed a bug that caused only ~200 favorites to load when starting the game. (If you have over 200 favourites expect longer loading times when first loading in).
  • Fixed a bug that prevented searching for both Name and Tags in the Normal tab.
  • Fixed a bug that caused HUD settings not to get applied.
  • Reworked how Custom Scenarios and Routines load to prevent stuttering.
  • Reworked how Maps load to prevent stuttering.
  • If a custom scenario contains errors, it will now show a popup with a list of the errors when trying to either upload it or play it.
  • The customize tab in the map editor will now automatically select the profiles used in that scenario.
  • Added 2 new blocks to the map editor: "Angle 1x1 C" and "Angle 1x1 D".
  • Added new debug mode to show if spawners are enabled or not by pressing "Alt-8" twice.
  • Fixed a bug that caused textures to become blurry on some systems.
  • Added an option to make scenarios private and visible only to selected players.
  • Added a popup in the menu that will show the current online members in the. Aimbeast Discord server.

Patch 4.1.1.7

Explore the latest patch, offering a revamped UI for the routines play tab, more bot settings and new dynamic arena events with an enhanced competitive gamemode.

[h5]New Arena Feature - Events:[/h5]

During gameplay, a variety of events will trigger randomly. These events are designed to shake things up and create unique situations.

Here is the current list of possible events:
  • Close Range
  • Long Range
  • Blink Frenzy
  • Longer Blinks
  • Mirrored Blinks
  • Vertical Blinks
  • Headshots Only
  • Bodyshots Only
  • 1.5X Damage
  • 100% Lifesteal
  • Ice Skates

All of these events can randomly stack up to 2 at the same time, for example "Close Range + 1.5X Damage" or "Ice Skates + 100% Lifesteal".

The Close Range and Long Range are unique because they will change the Arena, creating new structure to force those situations, while also having more chance of happening by default.



[h5]Arena Gamemode Update:[/h5]
  • Implemented various adjustments to enhance movement fluidity and responsiveness.
  • Introduced adjustable Lean variables to improve the readability of opponent movements.
  • The default Ranked Arena map has been changed to ArenaV1. (Events such as Close Range and Long Range will work on both maps).
  • Enabled Blinks in ranked matches, bringing an additional strategic element to gameplay.
  • As part of this update, ranks will reset.


[h5]New Arena Gamemode Settings:[/h5]
  • Lean Amount
  • Lean Interpolation Speed
  • Blink Vertical Offset
  • Weapon Category -> Full Auto / Semi Auto
  • Headshots Only
  • Reload On Hit
  • Enable Events
  • Events Chance
  • Events Chance Round Increase -> The overall chances of an event happening will increase by this amount every round the event doesn't occur.
  • Double Event Chance
  • Weight settings for all events


[h5]Routines Play Tab UI Revamp:[/h5]
  • We are improving the routine play tab to display more information such as scenario Type, Author and even the possibility to favourite scenarios.


[h5]Bots and Map Editor changes:[/h5]
  • Added a Map Editor starting guide when first editing a map, this should help new creators navigate the map editor easier.
  • Added new Event Trigger to bots: "On Spawn".
  • Added several new fly interpolation types, such as: Ease In, Ease Out, Ease In Out and more...
  • The customize tab in the map editor will now automatically select the relative profiles used in the loaded scenario.


[h5]Other changes:[/h5]
  • Your Scenarios and Routines favorites lists will now update instantaneously as you favorite or unfavorite items.
  • Improved loading times when launching the game.
  • Routine thumbnails should now load 10 times faster than before.
  • Added a tooltip to the FOV setting that shows all the FOV values for the most popular games.
  • Added a new scenarios filter: Author
  • Updated the menu banners with new art, animations and functionality.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Spawn Delay to get ignored even when enabled.
  • Added average score to Statistics tab, this will show the average score over the last 30 runs.

Patch 4.1.1.6

In this patch we are adding a few features that players suggested on our Discord.

New Sky Setting:

  • Use As Menu Backdrop -> If checked, the sky will be used as the menu background instead of the gray default background.


Crosshairs in Player Info tab:
  • The crosshair settings of each player will now be displayed in their profile. You have the option to either apply the displayed crosshair, which will replace your current one, or copy it to the clipboard / save it locally if it is a custom crosshair.
  • Crosshairs will only show on players that login after this update.
Move to Earn Extra Points Popup:
  • A popup will now show when you are not moving in scenarios where movement grants extra points.


New Bots Settings:
  • Event Randomize Interval -> Enable this option to set a random (min/max) interval when using Timer events.
  • Blink Randomize Interval -> Enable this option to set a random (min/max) interval when using blinks.
  • Leap Randomize Interval -> Enable this option to set a random (min/max) interval when using leaps.
  • Disable Blink Overlap Protection -> Enable this option to consistently initiate a new blink, even when another blink is currently active.
  • Blink Interpolation Type -> Adjust the interpolation curve of blinks with these options: Linear, Ease In, Ease Out and Ease In Out.
  • Avoid Repeating Dodge Directions -> Enable this option to prevent repeating directions, the bot will always change direction when the current dodge time ends.


New Weapons Setting:
  • Refill Ammo on Hit -> Enable this option to instantly reload the weapon when hitting a bot.
Other Changes:
  • Updated game font to support more characters.
  • Fixed a bug that caused angled blinks to add distance over the blink distance limit.
  • The color pickers now accurately displays the selected color even when the bottom left bar is set to 0.
  • Arena Official Servers will now restart every hour to preserve performance.

Patch 4.1.1.5

In this patch we are introducing a new feature to themes and implementing a few of the suggestions we received in the Aimbeast Discord server.

Themes Update:
  • You can now import your own custom textures, which can be used as wall or ground materials. This feature allows for a more personalized and unique experience.

    *To import a texture, open the materials list from the settings menu, scroll down to the bottom and click on the Import button.

  • Added 3 new materials aswell: "Wood_G", "Wood_H" and "Wood_I".
Add To Routine Shortcut:
  • Added an "Add To Routine" button to all scenarios in the Normal and Custom tab for easy and quick customization of your routines.


Other Changes:
  • Fixed a bug that caused scores to get submitted to the leaderboard when in free play mode.
  • Added a new scenario setting: "Randomize Initial Player Spawn Point".
  • Fixed high-pitched barrier going down sound bug in Arena.
  • Updated the SMG shooting animation in both the Trainer and Arena.
  • Added tooltips to some buttons in the Theme category in settings.
  • Added filters to the Custom tab.
